In the UK, the standing is right in front of the stage, I think you call it the pit???

@weekes, awh that's going to be so fun. I remember my first concert and I had the time of my life!

Ive noticed in the US your tickets are so expensive?? I've got standing for like £33 and that's roughly $47-48 but the tickets were all gone within eight minutes.

i looked up some of the average prices to attend shows for certain artists over the last year just out of curiosity, so if ur interested too, here ya go:
    all time low - $30 (£26)
    the ap tour - $22 (£19)
    fall out boy - $36 (£31)
    twenty one pilots - $29 (£25)
    sleeping with sirens - $30 (£26)

for some reason, panic! wasn't on there. ///: i looked here if you want to look around for yourself.
so, yeah. ticket prices actually aren't crazy or anything. it usually just depends on the artist and the venue. fees are also usually around $12 (£10), and once you take that into consideration and then add up the cost for three or four tickets, that's when it starts to get pricey.

concerts will always be worth the splurge for me because music is the only thing i rlly care about.

Most American venues have standing in front (the pit or the floor) like you mentioned but some arena venues also have standing room behind the pit and seats. It's typically a grassy area and people bring lawn chairs and blankets and their are sometimes televisions becuase you can't actually see the stage. I think I've only been to two venues like that ever. They aren't very common but if you can find a place that has standing room like that, you can get some dirt cheap tickets.

tickets definitely depend on demand and audience size. my twenty one pilots tickets were $60 at the first venue, but they had so much demand that they moved the entire show to another venue and started charging $65 - $80. luckily, they were all fluid seating (i.e you could move from pit to seating) but i was p mad they decided to charge that much more. in comparison, last time panic were here, they were quite literally giving away tickets alongside pretty.odd because that was how freaking unpopular they were. that's probably my theory on why they haven't come back since, but i'd be surprised if they didn't come hrd next year or with their next tour tbh

Favorite Song or Album: Album-Vices & Virtues Song- The Calendar cx
(see previous question)Why?: Well, I like Vices And Virtues because I feel like Brendon was at his best in that album. It's not like he's never at his best, he's amazing! And I like The Calendar because the lyrics are so great and the song is suuuper catchy! It explains alot about me, in my opinion of course. I mean, listen to this beautiful intro:
You said if you don't let it out
You're gonna let it eat you away
I'd rather be a cannibal, baby
Animals like me don't talk anyway
Feel like an ambulance
Chase her away
Pray I could replace her
Forget the way her tears taste
Oh, the way her tears taste
How long have you liked P!ATD?: Since Vices & Virtues came out (2011 . U .). Ehh, I feel old. Even if I'm still pretty young. XD

P.S. I feel super stupid about not learning of this earlier :l
