i've lost everything this past year

my father left his wife and child for some girl five years my senior
and shut my phone off after i gave him a year to explain himself
i applied to ten jobs and now can't hear back from them

my brother tore my family apart with his violent tendencies
i barely pulled through a year of college
my mother took a pay cut on mother's day
they're moving
it's all my fault
i wasnt even home

ive had to deal with online things
that made me cry myself to sleep
i lost a friend
i lost my self-worth

well, that's life, right?
and it's all my fault

i just want happiness
why's that so hard?
