she purred, touching noses to her new mentor, looking over at her mother.

Shadefur turned to Briarstar. He noticed her beckoning him, so meowed to Sparrowpaw, "Go meet the other apprentices." Then, he followed Briarstar.

she padded into her den and sat down, nodding as he approached.

she nodded, jumping down to a ledge and jumped to the ground, purring as she flicked her tail

Shadefur shouldered his way through the vines covering Briarstar's den entrance. He sat down, curling his tail neatly around his paws. "What is it, Briarstar?" he asked.

Tree smiled. "I guess I'm it!" He meowed and lashed his tail.

Dusk grinned, and raced off. "Catch me, catch me!" she mewed.

Tree raced after her, pretending not to be able to catch up. "You're so fast!" He meowed, 'panting'.

"Papa, come on! You can go faster!" Dusk knew she was slow. "C'mon!" she mewed.
