"just playing. I think we should go back to the den." rosekit suggested getting a bad feeling in her stomach. "We can play there." she suggested

Moonkit quickly nodded her agreement to Rosekit already feeling nervous about being out of the den. "I think that would be a good idea." She said wondering if the other cats in the den had noticed they left.

Shadekit woke up slowly with a tiny yawn. He smelled Lillystar's familiar scent and started to crawl towards her.

rosekit turned to dawnkit and flicked her with her tail. dawnkit flicked back in approval and so rosekit turned to ghostkit. she lightly taouched her paw to his.

The next day Lillystar's kits were growing more and more adventurous. They knew that other kits were around them, and they eventually began stumbling acrost Dapplelight's litter. Before Lillystar and Froststorm could believe, the kits had opened their eyes, and were beginning to speak!

As Shadekit began to wander towards Lillystar, he collided with Coonkit. Startled, Coonkit inspected the kit. He looked friendly, and her breath grew calm.

Shadekit shook his head slightly looking down at Coonkit after they collided. He reached a paw forward lightly touching her shoulder to see how the new kit would react.

Coonkit's eyes shut tight at the feeling of Shadekit's paw on her shoulder, but they opened again as she realized. His paw felt warm and soft. She meowed a faint "hello", and lightly shook his paw off, attempting to put hers on his muzzle.

Shadekit mewled lightly feeling Coonkit's paw on his muzzle. feeling the soft fur of her paw he relaxed slightly before licking her paw lightly.
