Cinder watches the tom leave feeling a hint of admiration. He was speaking the truth, and Cinder agreed. She was too busy watching, and only heard the last part of what Cloverpaw had said. "You would?" She blinks at the shecat, slightly surprised. A clan cat had never said that before. That was why Cloverpaw was easily likeable.

The pride she seemed to take listening to the rogue made her heart sink, not sure whom to side with on this one. The rogue was lying, every clan cat had to play their part and if Piketail had acted scared he might have been killed along with Leopardpaw. She never assumed any rogue was weak, in fact it was quite the opposite, but if she ever faced one alone she'd have to pretend to be brave. "You have clan scent now, who can say one of these days a rogue won't jump you. I'd want someone to help me, so why shouldn't I be there to help others?"

"I suppose... But I can fight back, I can fight a rogue with my own moves, they'll think I only know clan moves." Cinder meows, glancing away from the shecat. Maybe the clan wouldn't be as fun as she thought, she didn't want to be one of those cats who thought rogues, like herself, are weak. Cinder had to shake the thought away, she joined because she had one goal, to mess with the clan and take them our from the inside. It would hurt Cloverpaw, she knew it would, but she couldn't make friends, only allies.

"And what about if you ran into him?" Trying hard to keep her voiced hushed so Piketail and Leopardpaw wouldn't hear. "What if you're out numbered, or facing a larger more skill cat? There's a lot of things we can't predict, you shouldn't be so confident that every enemy you face will be taken down alone. The only predictable thing about battle is how unpredictable it is and how quickly the tides can change." She points out, knowing little about the heat of battle, but she knew the struggle it brought onto everyone.

Cinder nods, in agreement. "Yes, that is true but I'm a quick thinker, I can easily turn the game around. I have to be able to do such things." She meows, watching Piketail and the apprentice. She had already decided, those were her first targets.

She instantly looked up as Piketail approached her. "Are you alright ?" She asked with some difficulty, her voice raspy. She hadn't expected the rogue to be able to do that. To hurt a cat that couldn't fight back at that moment. With a sinking feeling she realized that she really had expected him to fight by clan rules and hadn't given a second thought to the fact that he had no reason to do so.

The tom's eyes widen almost with shock, but are quickly replaced by an angry glare. "Who cares? You're the one that go hurt, we have to get you moving back to camp." It didn't matter if his shoulder stung a little, he was certain the rogue would be feeling the claw marks against his lower belly and legs more. To him, it didn't matter if he was hurt or bleeding more than he felt, this was the second time she got hurt under his watch.

Cinder's determination to be a cat living the life of solitude was bone cracking difficult. Always hunting and fighting alone, did she really think living in a group like this was some weakness? "Starclan forbid you meet that cat who thinks faster than you in battle..." Almost to herself, turning away from the two cats near the river and padding back towards the lush forest. "We can only handle being alone so long, I'd have never been born if my mother hadn't learned to trust a clan tom."

Cloudchaser padded into camp with slight worry sinking in like a rock in her stomach. An exile had openly padded into the gathering place and attacked a medicine cat apprentice! What if he starts a whole big fued or something? The she-cat shook away the thought and padded into the Warriors den. She layed down but didn't get ready to go to sleep, knowing that most cats had stayed up to hear about what had happened during the gathering.

Cinder pads after Cloverpaw. "I'm used to it. I can't be super clingy with all the cats I meet." She wonders if she would see the tom again, maybe in battle, who knows? Cinder agreed with what the tom said, nothing could change her mind about that.

She smiled faintly, getting up to her paws. Her legs felt wobbly, but she managed to stand on her own. She wanted to make sure Piketail was alright, but she knew he wouldn't think about his own wounds until she was back at camp and getting cared for. "Thank you." Leopardpaw said, looking at him with gratitude and fondness.
