Originally, his family were not tribe cats, though they were forced to flee their home because of a flood and were taken in by the tribe. They lived with the tribe for a while before both his mother and father died trying to protect him from an eagle, though he was almost on the verge of death, his sister, Petal, somehow drug him close to where the other cats were in the cave and called out, getting help from the others.

i was originally thinking it could've been a different attack but it would be interesting if it was the same eagle that killed Talon's parents and Light, so it could be the same attack
