The only reason you got her was for not being like Brightleaf, so you won't be killing anyone nor should you even talk like that." His tone was stern but calm, feeling like the clan was being turned against itself. "Whitefoot, right now it's best to walk away. Flamepelt has been fighting all morning for this kit, if it dies from a cough the blood will be on her paws not yours."

Flamepelt sneered at Nettle-eye, then mewed "just eat your mouse, ok?" in a calm voice to Screechkit.

"I don't want to watch an innocent kit be treated poorly be her," Whtefoot snorted and turned away from the queen who in her opinion, knew nothing about how to treat a kit, only pressure them into things they didn't like.

Sighing, he follows Whitefoot away from the queen. "I know, but it's been a struggle for her all morning. Right now she just need space and time to think, between Brightleaf and Dawnstar she's going crazy. I probably would too though..." Still hardly able to believe Flamepelt was a whisker away from losing her to Blightleaf.

Flamepelt runs after the kit, ignoring Blightleaf's comment. When she catches up she picks her up carefully while trying not to reopen fthe wound on her jaw. She brings the kit back to the nursery and blocks the exit. "This is what happens if you run off, I can't trust you so you have to stay in here" she meows sternly to the kit while trying to be gentle as to not upset it.
