Cinder pads back into clan territory, not wanting to return to her father with no cat. On the way, she notices a shecat. She didn't smell like a clan cat, good. Cinder approaches the shecat. "Hey there."

"Screechkit, ignore Whitefoot, I'll protect you, just eat your mouse" Flamepelt mews " If Whitefoot gets her neck bitten its her fault"

The white pawed warrior looked shocked that Flamepelt would be threaten to attack her over a kit that wasn't even hers. "I know what I'm doing," Whitefoot calmly said, trying to defuse the situation. "The kit won't do well with someone who has a temper. She needs someone who can remain calm." She turned to the kit and smiled lightly. "Don't worry, I won't fight over you. I just want you to feel better."

"I don't always have a temper only when certain she-cats try to steal my adopted kit" Flamepelt growls.

"Don't," Whitefoot shook her head. "She has a mind of her own and I'm trying to get her to feel more comfortable."
