"You don't say." She replied, referring to his accidental pun, but continued. "Some sort of... ten foot tall shadowy smoke beast with one eye... I guess, and the guy riding it." Melati shrugged. "It wouldn't actually get hit, rather... 'evaporate' and reform itself wherever I hit. The only place that actually seemed to do anything was its eye but not by much." She realized she had given a little more information than he had asked for. "I don't know where it went off to but I'm pretty sure the guy was controlling it. He spared me 'from his kindness' as well."

Nioacex wandered outside, his tail swishing to his side as he looked around the forest. There wasn't much to comment about the weather so he kept his snarky comments even away from his mind. He just had his eyes turned towards the sky, actually quite enjoying himself, when he heard a whimper nearby. What the hell could be whimpering around here? Reluctantly, he had half a mind to see what was going on and turned towards the building it came from. He had to wander for a few moments before he actually found the source.
Nio came to find a hole. How, he wasn't quite sure what it was, or where it came from. But he saw some sort of creature in the hole. He debated internally on whether or not to help it. After a while, it didn't matter to him, and he squat down beside the hole. "Hey kid, you lost?" He questioned, his tail resting at his side as he watched. He wasn't quite sure if it could speak but it was worth a try.

Loki's eyes narrowed a bit, not expecting the shakiness of Melati's reply. Deciding not to mention the fact that he thought it rude, he glanced down to the dragon on his shoulder. "Well cyborg you appear to need a hand. I believe that my friend and I met someone less than an hour ago that might be able to be of assistance to you." A dissatisfied frown made its way onto Loki's face as he realized that he had made a pun. "Also, would it be any trouble to ask what exactly caused your... Injuries?" He tried, not knowing what exactly to call the broken parts.

Kiki moved closer to the wall, leaving Melato to answer the questions directed at her. The bird girl gave a weary glance over to the people still talking. She was confused as to what had made the girl-Bella-disapear and a small dragon take her place. Perhaps that's what she was? The magenta-eyed man sneezed upon walking up a case of stairs. He wasn't used to the lighter tone of his voice, as she had forgotten that he had shifted himself to look like a teenager that bore little resemblance to his former self with the exception of his ever-changing eyes and rune scars. With each magic pulse from the crystals in the surrounding area, the magician detected more and more magic. Turning his focus from his thoughts and the distracting response of the shards, Arthur, who now had russet-colored hair, sneezed again. Perhaps the myth about talking behind one's back was true? He hadn't shown any signs of getting ill before.
