Puddlestar nods slowly. It was good that Willowclan was doing well. Im just worried about Cinderstar. It's not like her to miss a gathering unless something was really wrong. Her flicks his tail, waiting for the next leader to announce what the last moon had brought. He stiffens at Crowstars words. It's not like a clan leader to admit weakness unless it was extremely serious. And even then they sugarcoat it. It must be really bad in Venomclan.

Pinepaw

Pinepaw looks down at her paws. Her belly was twisted in a knot of nerves. He seems really nice. Maybe I will finally have a friend. The code says you can have friends in other clans. She centers her green eyes on the Petrified Oak. I need to focus on the gathering. But, Sparrowpaw had wormed his way into her thoughts. She sighed.

Sorrelkit looks around at all the cats, feeling slightly overwhelmed. She saw the leaders leap onto the Petrified Oak, and realized the gathering was starting. The sheer amount of cats threatened to sweep her off her paws, so she centered on her own scent in an attempt to calm herself.

Fernstar
Fernstar looked at Crowstar and her eyes widened. The VenomClan leader usually didn't express weaknesses, which made the CloverClan leader worry. "I'm sorry to hear it, Crowstar." She mewed, dipping her head to the other leader.

Threeleg
Threeleg's eyes clouded with pain for the other she cat. He would feel horrible if Fernstar didn't tell him what made her miss a gathering. "Don't stress about it, Heathercloud. I'm sure she'll tell you when you get back." He reassured her before looking down at Goldenpaw. "Very unusual. Only if they are extremely sick will they stay behind. Fernstar has only missed one gathering in her 17 moons of leadership and that was because she had a bad case of greencough." He explained.

Sparrowpaw
Sparrowpaw looked at Berrypaw and forced a smile. "I just want to find out what the mountains are like, and we didn't get much time to before Fernstar started the gathering." He lied, closing his eyes in a forced happy manner to hide the guilt and dishonesty in them. He never lied to Berrypaw, and at the moment it felt like the whole world was sitting on his shoulders and his once blue sky was beginning to grow overcast..

Heathercloud
Heathercloud looked at Threeleg and sighed. "I hope you're right. She hasn't missed any gatherings and hasn't told me anything about being busy or being sick." She mewed before looking back up at the leaders - and Rosedust - as they continued the gathering.

Whiterain
Whiterain just shrugged. "Probably just some rumours floating around the Clan then." He whispered before smiling. "At least you and the Clan are okay." He smiled at the younger fæ before looking up as his deputy began to speak.

Greypaw
Greypaw looked up as Fernstar spoke. Greypaw's grey tabby fur shone a bright silver in the moonlight, and so did Fernstar's. She lowered her head when Rosedust was called to start the gathering. She didn't want any apprentices from other Clans asking why her leader wasn't attending.

Cloudchaser's eyes widened at her leader. Why did he just tell all the clans that! What if they try to attack us because they think we're weak! She thought with unease. Cloudchaser looked at her paws and sighed sadly. "So much for trying to not let the other clans know..." She closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath.

Cloudchaser looked at her leader. "Well I know we're not weak, but whose to say that the other clans might think that we are!" The fur on Cloudchaser's spine fluffed up a little.The other clans MUST think we're weak... If only Crowstar didn't say what was going on back at the clan. the she-cat shook her head and looked away, annoyed by her leader's choice to talk about the two-legs.

Daywatcher followed her clan into the clearing, nervousness prickling at her paws. Why, oh why, the she-cat thought to herself, couldn't Torrentheart come along? Daywatcher knew that her sister was much better at these sort of things. She, herself, hadn't gone to too many gatherings, and the thought of somehow getting into a fight and angering StarClan made her nervous. Weaving her way around the borders of cats, she settled down by herself when the Gathering began. Trying her best to pay attention, she intently watched the leaders, only to be distracted by a feather floating over her head. Must... not pounce... Her paws itched, self-control seeming so many fox-lengths away now.

(Sorry about this late post D: I was unable to get on in time for the Gathering's beginning...)

Greywing glanced to her apprentice, swallowing as she noticed the tom beside her. I hope she doesn't... She shook her head, ears perked towards the leaders. What am I thinking? You're allowed to have friends. Whats wrong with having friends? She shifted uncomfortably at the thoughts drifting through her head. I'm paranoid. I need to trust my apprentice and that she is loyal to the clan.
