Cinder feels a twinge of jealousy, it was the first time she was jealous of a clan cat. "You're all lucky to know at least something. I know nothing." She mutters, staring at her paws. She flexes her claws into the ground, she was frustrated. Why couldn't she remember?

His blue eyes look to the apprentice, then to the sky as the trees thinned out near the river. Is this really what Willowear would want for him? She raised him friendly, accepting and warm, even if it brough him a rogue and an apprentice by his side, it was better than being alone. "Yeah, you're right, I'll always keep my friends close." Bumping his nose against her cheek happily, knowing some cats would forgive him.

She sinks down again watching the older cat flex her claws, not sure if she'd angered the she-cat with her stories. "You know... Clan cats have an amazing thing, when they die they go to Starclan and can walk the dreams of living cats. Maybe if one of your parents was a former clan cat, they'll walk the stars and visit you some day. Some rogues and loners were more welcome before Crowstar became leader, I hear..." Shuffling her paws, wondering if her father would visit her when she sat for her vigil someday.

The tom had been thinking about the gathering tomorrow night, almost caught off guard when the young apprentice approached him. "Sorry, I haven't. I was hoping to inform her she was invited to the gathering tomorrow but she's been very illusive today." He silently questioned how many apprentices would be able to come and if Cinder would need to... Probably not, but he could ask Crowstar later.

Cinder shakes her head. "I don't believe in this so called Starclan so I doubt my parents did." She looks around camp again, it would be hard to fit in, or even try to act like a clan cat. In the end, it would be worth it, even if all the friends she makes hate her; it didn't matter. She would be leaving once she had finished anyway.

Her ears flicked after hearing about gathering "Well If she don't show up, I can go there in her Place" she meowed. Flicking her tail she was really excited about it "I am almost warrior age anyways" she continued, making a playful grimm.

Thinking hard, she nods suddenly and sits up. "But if you did, even just for a little while, there's a place where cats can speak to Starclan. There's a cave at the base of the mountain where medicine cats, leaders and sometimes apprentices ready to become warriors travel to speak with them. It's almost foolproof." She'd seen the cave before when assisting Rainpaw on a long term herb hunt, but she'd never gone inside before.

Flicking his tail, the tom hesitantly nods before looking over camp. "I think you may, but Heronpaw, Tawnypaw and Blazepaw will all be attending along with myself, Skysong, Firefur, Wolfstorm, Snakeblood and possibly Fallensnow or Bluewhisker. It's a crowd, but I'll need responsible cats to watch over the new apprentices. They need to be there for their announcement of new rank." As much as he wanted the energetic cats to stay in camp until they were no longer an embarrassment

Waving her paw dismissively, she smiles faintly at the cat. "If you become part of the clan, Crowstar will call to the warrior ancestors to recognize you as one of us, then they will see you as them. Gain a little faith and we can see for sure, Rose and Falcon believed in Starclan when they left, maybe I could see my mother and father too. They did spend three moons with the clan after all, not to mention I haven't seen Crowstar since you got here so who cares what he says?" If their leader couldn't be out watching camp, then who said it was wrong to leave for some adventure?
