I've Got A Special Announcement Everyone!!
I have decided that I'm going to be putting some random pets in a tab just for you guys and see if your hoard pets are in there!!

The group is called: ➚ ? ➘ Are These Your Hoard Pets ➚ ? ➘
There are simple rules you need to read/follow in my Trading Center; they're very simple to follow!!
I hope some people find what they're looking for.

Question for those who hoard newborns, how do you find them? I use my WL for hoard pets but I want to hoard the flower dog newborns.....and obviously they arent on the WL yet.
(Side note, i'll trade anything in my trade fodder group for those newborns if anyone feels so inclined to either get hoard pets or fodder from me)

I usually just end up going into that person's trade groups and searching for the newborns I want one by one, at least until they finally show up on the WL. Tedious, but you could miss them completely otherwise. Same thing with other unknown rarities (like event pets) that don't show up at first on the WL.

New hoards update!

Brother Mine
Started because they remind me of my brother. He used to REALLY love tea. Like, obsessively drinking 3+ cans of Arizona Iced Tea a day type of obsessed with tea. Now he's moved on to more refined teas, ones with actual leaves and brewing involved, but these pets always reminded me of him and I kind of miss him. I moved out about a year ago so we don't see each other much due to school and work and all that. Hence, I started this hoard.
Goal: 300?


Lyrium Corruption
I wanted to hoard these (specifically the red and blue ones) the SECOND I saw their adult outcomes. The green one I loved too but not as much. I may remove the yellow one from the hoard, as they don't quite fit my theme, but eh. We'll see. Dragon Age is my passion so another hoard based off of these games was probably inevitable.
Goal: 600? Maybe 666?


Mass Effect: N7
My love for Bioware's games strikes again! This time, with Mass Effect. I was stalking the purple dog for a while, going back and forth over it...unofficially hoarding them and the blue one just in case. I finally just decided to make it official. Love the purple one! The blue one is my favorite color and has stars, but I like it less and maaaybe might remove them and make it just a purple pup hoard? I dunno.
Goal: 150? 300?


Mass Relays
Darn you Mass Effect! My first unknown rarity hoard. I just love this pup's design SO much! And I love the orange rare version that came out ages ago, it's one of my favorite pets on here. Since they remind me of the galaxy map in Mass Effect it was kind of inevitable that I start hoarding them. I didn't want to do so until their rarity came out but...well...I couldn't help myself!
Goal: 150?


Who Could Ever Learn to Love a Beast?
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. It came out in my birth year. I had to. I just...they're so pretty guys! My second unknown rarity hoard.
Goal: 210 (was originally 21 but I can't do small hoards. Full steam ahead baby!!)

I also cut down my goal numbers for some hoards to 150, so my Jack Septic Eye, Rapture & Big Daddy hoards are close to being completed as well. Only about 40 to 50 more pets needed for each of them!

Hoo boy...might also start hoarding these guys as well. I thought I wouldn't bother with the litter, even though the blue outcome was gorgeous...but darn it, I love ravens. And the moon. And DAT MANE!

I've been hoarding those newborns, and I've found two strategies that work well. Offsite trading works quite well, I've swapped a number of Eldemore newborns for CS ones. I also have been keeping an eye on the monthly swap thread, and trading my other newborns for the flower dogs.

What do you do if you fall in love with a monthly adopt, start hoarding it like crazy, and then it grows up and you don't like the full grown form?

This is one of the reasons I don't actually hoard newborns. I'm too afraid the adults will look so hideous I can't stand them and I'd just have wasted my time/fodder/C$ gathering them up. I would likely just disband the hoard and trade them off for other hoard pets at that point. Or wishlist pets.

I did this once, didn't like the outcomes enough when they finally grew up, and decided to never start a newborn hoard again until I know what to expect from the adults.

Fun fact, though: The newborns I'm talking about were these

I think I hoarded 30 of them? Something like that.
And even though I traded away the hoard because I wasn't satisfied with the adults, I uh, hoarded them again years later.
I always will be sad that they didn't live up to my hype (also no outcome that kept the 00 marking :c) but they eventually won my heart.

Yooo, I hoard those, too. They're too amazing not to. And I feel ya on the big hoard goal; mine's half of yours.
Amusingly enough I want 200 of the outcome you might cut from your hoard completely, and only 100 of the others together :'D
Good luck with them! 600 sounds like a tempting goal IMO, so if I were you I'd probably go for that. Though I can see the appeal behind 666.

If I end up cutting the yellow ones, I would definitely be willing to swap/gift 'em over to you x^D And I'll do my best to get to at least 600. Since most of them are very common, it's kind of easy to snag a bunch at the moment. Hope it stays that way D^=
