((Hmm, yeah, I think I'll have CR bump into Siberia then. Shouldn't be too hard, I think. ;] Now, let's see how her personality turns out then, yes? And I took some liberty and had her actually run into you, so surprise or not there. XD))
Alicia skipped slightly down the very wide hall in the airport, caught up in looking at all the shops rather than where she was going. This place looked so different! She hadn't really visited any other countries in earnest before and so the new sights surprised and delighted her. Sure, she was popular among tourists but it didn't mean that she ever got out much herself.
Frankly, Alicia Jiménez, otherwise known as Costa Rica to those in the know, was a bit shy. She was a younger nation, especially compared to those in Europe and Asia, and had only been a neutral and calmed-down country for just over sixty years. She was a youngster in many respects and though she was optimistic, friendly and curious she was also slightly nervous. What if she said something wrong? What if she offended someone? What if she looked bad? Heck, she didn't look like what probably many thought a Central American country should look like. She was white instead of a mestizo, as many in her country were immigrants and Costa Rica was very immigrant-friendly. What if people thought she was a stuck up attention grabber because of that?
Okay, maybe she was- a little. However, she already got enough attention and wasn't really looking for more. She was very environmentally conscious and had even opted (out of her own will, mind you) to become a vegetarian but surely that didn't make her stuck up. Oh well. That didn't matter any way. She should just calm down and pay atten-
She felt herself collide with someone in front of her, who she hadn't seen due to her zoning out and skipping madly in the airport. It was a little surprising that she hadn't done so already, but she paid this no mind. "I'm sorry! Lo siento!" She stood up, brushing off her all-natural blue jeans and red shirt and blushing. She'd been an idiot already! She looked up at the person in front of her. "I'm- I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you or anything?" She couldn't help but feel like this person was similar to her in some way but she brushed this off. She must just be crazy.

Himno de Aragón
Resplandece el tiempo;
llega ya la edad
para que la piedra sea manantial,
de enlazar nuestras vidas
y entonar las voces.
Shine time;
arrives at the age
for the stone to be spring
to link our lives
and singing voices.
