"Crowstar doesn't know that, you'll be Cinderpaw before anything else happens." She had to learn about the warrior code in order to make her vows to Starclan and Venomclan, she could never truly be a warrior not knowing them. "Father said that's why my mothers siblings left, they didn't want to wait for acceptance. With their sister dead, they didn't have much reason anyway. I wonder where Rose and Falcon went anyway..." Thinking out loud at the end, knowing rogues never wandered far from their home lands.

Cinder shakes her head. "I'm not having a clan cat name, I'm just Cinder." She meows, shaking her head again. "Do you think they're still alive? Rose and Falcon I mean." She asks, looking at the shecat. Cloverpaw looked pretty similar to herself, really similar. She had noticed earlier but she didn't realise they looked that alike. Just another coincidence...

Firefur snaps open her pale lime eyes, which glowed faintly in the darkness of the empty warriors den. Her ears swiveled forward as she heard the argument between Cinder and Piketail. The tortoishell shecat prepared to stand and intervene, but then noticed Piketail and Leopardpaw leaving. She takes a moment to stretch luxoriously, then pads out of the den, shaking stray bits of moss off her ember-like pelt. She yawns, then picks up a thrush from the fresh-kill pile. She glanced around for someone to share it with, but then remembered clans are different than tribes. She sighs softly, sitting in the shadows in between the elders and warriors den, settling down to pick the feathers off her meal. Her pale lime eyes send a dusty beam over Cloverpaw and Cinder as she observes the duo. They look similar.. like kin almost. Maybe are. Maybe aren't. None of business. Firefur bites into the thrush, the succulant juices seeping over her tongue.

"Well, I mean, what if that's exactly the problem ? You know, living alone can't be too amazing. Especially when you have absolutely no one. Maybe she does want to find a home, she just won't admit it to herself. But, that's just one option." Leopardpaw said, flicking her tail as they walked through the forest, the trees blocking out even the silvery glow of the moon.

He'd often felt alone, but he'd rarely ever been by himself for very long. Perks of living in a clan was someone always noticed a cat was missing, sad or scared, he was never alone. "After everything she's said to me, I can't really predict what she might be thinking other than trying to ruin my life some more. I'm sure half the clan thinks I brought her here..." Listening for the river where the trees would break apart from each other.

"I guess you don't have to if Crowstar says it's ok..." Not sure she could ever gain any trust acting like that, but she didn't argue. The last thing she wanted was all that anger from Piketail to come lashing out at her. "I wouldn't doubt it one bit, One-Ear said the three siblings were inseparable so when my mother died they left together. Both were fit and strong hunters he told me, I have no doubt in my mind they're still alive." Just not in the territory anymore, it would seem.

Cinder nods. "You're lucky to know your family, I don't know if my family are dead or not." She meows, turning her head to look around the camp. There wasn't much going on, just a few cats hanging around.

As long as he remembered it, he knew the clan would as well. Crowstar fought that cat and lose, he was probably miserable knowing such a reckless cat was in camp. "Well, for now we'll just have to wait and see. Starclan will guide me down the path I was meant to walk, even if I have to walk it alone in Cinder's shadow."

Thinking quietly, her tail flicks back and forth wondering how she couldn't know her parents. "How long have you been alone? A kit hardly starts eating solid food after their two moons old, you can't remember what your mom smells like or her eye or pelt color?" Though she didn't doubt her mother was a calico like she was, maybe Bluewhisker knew something about kits in the territory or what happened to Rose and Falcon; he was one of the oldest warriors in camp.

Cinder closes her eyes and thinks hard, searching the back of her mind for at least a tiny memory of her family. She had purposely forgotten them, grieving over family didn't help when trying to survive alone. "My mother..." She mutters, thinking hard. "My mother had amber eyes... like me." She meows uncertainly. It was only a faint memory of her mother, a very faint memory.

CLOUDCHASER Tags: no one

Cloudchaser shook her head and dragged herself up off the dusty ground. She padded over to the fresh kill pile and dragged out a decently sized bird glumly. Cloudchaser was dragging it back when she tripped over one of its wings. Her claws unsheathed in surprise and got stuck in the birds thick down while she tried in a vain attempt not to fall on her face. But these atempts didn't work, and soon Cloudchaser was on the dusty camp ground with her tail sticking straight up and her paws all stretched out.
