She was startled by this turn of events, but she decided that she trusted Piketail more than some arrogant rogue. "That's actually kind of cute." Leopardpaw smiled, not letting Cinder make the trouble she was obviously looking for. She brushed her head under Piketail's chin and gave a gentle purr.

He could feel a growl rising in his throat, but it was quickly cut off by Leopardpaw's bump. Still, he knew Cinder wouldn't hesitate to continue with her mocking until she'd ruined everything. "Why don't we go somewhere quieter for a while... The night is still young, I'm sure no one would mind." Standing up, thinking the river might be nice reflecting the light of the stars and moon.

Her ears flatten at the sudden innocent fun becoming more heated and personal, shrinking back into the den. "Come on, be nice... He's hardly been a warrior three moons, it's not like we're born knowing how to face every problem..." She mutters, not liking how quickly this cat turned from friendly to troublesome at the flick of a whisker. "Everyone wants to be important to someone else."

Cinder pretends to gag. "Yes, leaving is a good idea!" She calls out, pretending to gag once again. Her tail tip twitches in amusement, noticing that she had annoyed Piketail, her main goal. "Bye bye kitties! I hope you don't come back with five kits!" She teases, sitting down, watching them leave.

"Sure. Just a sec." She said with a nod and a smile to Piketail before standing up. She shook out her fur and padded over to Cinder. "Alright listen. Just because you're lonely and bitter, it doesn't mean you have to take it out on someone who isn't. Find something more productive to do." Leopardpaw told the rogue, without any trace of anger. Then she turned around and walked back to Piketail. "Shall we go ?"

"And fast..." He mutters, leading the way out of camp for the time being. Maybe if they came back, Cinder would be sleeping or busy getting her tail handed to her by another warrior. He knew for a fact some warriors wouldn't take that kind of humiliation without biting back; hard. Sighing, he had to admit that this meant he wouldn't have any more issues with Cloudchaser unless she was still going to try and win his affections.

Her small calico body pushed back into the den, not sure if she could say anything to make Cinder stop. Some cats searched their whole lives looking for the right cat, she knew Lichenstorm had once liked Wildfire, but had given up about a moon ago. Bluewhisker had never found the right cat, Cloudchaser was looking too... "That wasn't very nice, plus you're just a guest here so technically Leopardpaw does outrank you." She hardly utters under her breath, staring at her paws and how helpless they were to defend her clanmates.

"But I haven't chosen a rank here, I'm not your prisoner, I'm not part of your clan, I'm not visiting either. Anyway, her disciplining me is like a kit telling the deputy what's right and wrong." She shoots back, her whiskers twitching in amusement as she watches the cats leave. Her job was to annoy as much cats as possible, but make allies at the same time, so far, it was sort of going to plan.

"Maybe I am younger, but if we were judging by behavior, then you're way younger than me." Leopardpaw replied with a smile before following Piketail out of camp. She caught up to him, walking beside the tom. "Don't let her get to you. She's just a jealous ball of fur."

He avoided eye contact as they walked, guessing now they could never be friends if she was so willing to spill secrets. "I'd like to believe that, but when you live alone what's to be jealous of? She's not interested in settling down or finding someone to be with, if she was jealous it'd just be because we're friends; maybe. Rogues will be rogues though..." He mutters, not sure if he should defend himself or justify her annoying comments.

"You are a prisoner until you decide, then you'll become an apprentice until you've learned the warrior code and our ways of hunting and fighting... Your only choice is to leave or stay, the rest is up to Crowstar and Lichenstorm." She says, not sure if she could trust this cat when her mood and anger switched so frequently between cats. Her mind must be pretty crowded with feelings if she was so quick to unleash them on any cat nearby.
