Xaria nodded. She did a quick example of a cross stitch and showed it to Ingo. "That's the next step up. Cross stitching is simple." She proceeded to explain how to do one, threading the needle slowly and pausing after every step.

Ingo struggled for a bit to start with because she was eager to start, but when she slowed down and concentrated she found it easy and natural, "What other stitches are there that you can show me?" she asked.

"Let's try the blanket stitch. This ones harder and takes longer but..." Xaria said, shifting slightly. She started to explain the second second stitch, careful not to poke herself.

Ingo found the blanket stitch surprisingly easy , she thought she might have done it before. "That's enough for the moment, should i show you wood carving now?"

Xaria nodded eagerly, placing her thugs down carefully to one side. Her eyes shone with excitement and eagerness. She crossed her legs lotus style under her as she waited for instruction.

"Right you start with some wood..." Ingo explained in great detail the steps to make a cat carving. "As you practice more and more you will get better and there are other tools you can use too."

Xaria picked up a piece of wood, weighing it before startin and following directions. Her hands were starting to hurt and the wood was a little tough to work with but she kept going, the outcome being a rough, barely recognisable wooden cat.

"I bet your hands are sore!" Ingo said,"It does make your hands feel awful when you start but look on the brightside, your cat looks very nice, you should be proud of yourself" Ingo gaves Xaria some moisturising oily stuff to rub on her hands to make the pain ease.

"Meh," said Milo, not wanting to talk about that. "He's a nice guy. Not a very good fighter, though, or he would have seen it coming."

"True." Ella said. She too the chicken out of the oven and set it on the counter.

[Last night I stayed up until midnight watching A Very Potter Musical on youtube. I'm so weird, but it's so funny!]

Milo reached over to help with the chicken, but burned his fingers on the pan and pulled away, sticking them into his mouth. "Maybe I should just stay away from the food," he said with a slight grin.
