"Uh, right, okay!" she nodded, loosening up her stance. She always loved going out of the camp, even if it were simply for something no more than hunting. She stood up and watched as Smokycloud padded away, then exclaimed, "Let's go!"

"We found her!" the young tom announced when they got back to the rest of the patrol.

Suddenly he leaped, paws outstretched and claws unsheathed. He landed on the branch with the thrush with ease, capturing the bird in his forepaws. He gave it a bite to the neck, killing it swiftly. Alright! That was awesome! he thought.

After a bit of walking, Snowpaw slowed a bit and turned her head back towards Smokycloud. "Er are we going anywhere in particular or should I just keep walking..?"

The gray tom thought for a moment as they continued to pad onwards. "Hmm... where do you think we should go? Have any favorite hunting places?" he queried, leaving it up to his apprentice.

Even though all she was doing was walking through a forested area that would probably seem rather boring to most cats, she was having a lot of fun. She really wanted to dash ahead and run a dozen laps around the marsh while looking at all of the pretty scenery. However, she kept in her kit-like desires in order to look good in front of the others and settled on gazing wondrously at the scenery.

The young tom tried to hunt some more among the trees and on the ground a bit, and caught but one more thrush. Leaf-bare had been hard on everyone, so it seemed. He picked his two birds up by the wings and started to head back to camp on foot. Taking his path on the trees like he had earlier would have resulted in a lot of clumsiness.

Thornclaw flicked his tail for his patrol to follow, He looked up at the sky for any chance of unexpected weather "Looks like were clear for unexpected rain for once" he mewed chearly. Driftmoon have out a slight chuckle before sniffing the air. Driftmoon quickly dropped her head down to sniff the ground then looked up once again. She put her paw out infront of Thornclaw stopping him suddenly "Drift, Whats wrong now we just got out of camp?" He asked in a concerned tone "I smell a very familiar scent, last time I smelt this is when I ran away from the twoleg place. I used to smell it all the time when I was just a kitten but i just cant put my paw on what it is" she said is a stirn mew as she looked forward at the tree's.

The younger tom padded forth near the back of the patrol, listening to everything that was going on. He stopped when the others did, and heard what Driftmoon was saying. He raised his muzzle, tasting the air, and caught a faint scent that was a little off as well. "It could just be twolegs being weird again. They tend to do that." he suggested with a "shrug."
