The zebras are the rarest pets without demand taken into account. But it really doesn't matter, since demand is really the driving force behind what people pay.

The banana is right up there amongst the rarest as well. But again, demand comes into play.

I apologise for the double post but I wanted to bump this back up to discuss something.

The value of the sunback is obviously rising. I want to solidify what it's worth. Non-jewel & August? I know it used to be about a Non-jewel & a september. Obviously it's gone up. People are saying it's close to a coontail but I don't think that's right is it? x3 It can't have gone up that drastically.

Yeah. The sunback has always been rather popular, and it's been driven really high recently for some reason. Just stalking the auctions scares me sometimes - the things they can go for. ;_;

No one else thinks it's somewhat funny? While it is true that any of the 3 outcomes of that litter are wildly popular, their value seems unjustified when compared to other pets from that month of the same initial rarity. xD

What do you mean exactly? I'm confused. Can you clarify?

I meant that even the least rare sun pup (which according to the least on the 1st post is the non-jewel pup) is still a large while more valuable than any of the July 2008 pets except the moonswirl, dogtag, jully pps and coontail. That's a whole litter in the first 10 places on the list whereas any other litter from July has some valuable pets (namely the ones I mentioned above) and several pets that are placed much lower in the list, despite them all being obtainable in July.

Hope that makes sense. I'm not sure how many of each litter were released or for how long they were obtainable. But it seems that the sun litter has an excessive value when compared to the others.

Oh okay i understand now. I think its because of demand. All the designs are highly appealing to a lot of people wheras some of the other dogs are just not as desired.
