Basil shook his head, standing and shaking out his pelt. "No, I'm not particularly hungry. Thanks, though," He offered her a smile before turning his head, letting out a deep breath that fogged before him. It'll be a chilly night. He noted, glancing around the small clearing that he called his own.

Midnight shrugs. "Whatever you say, more for me!" She jokes before finishing the vole. She nudges the remains to the side with a forepaw and lays down on her back, looking up at the sky. Her exhaustion returns quickly, making her yawn. It had been a long day. She was glad to have found Basil in the forest, or she might still be struggling to find food.

Basil smiled at her before nudging the remains to the edge, quickly burying them before turning back to her. "Are you tired? The dens big enough for both of us to fit comfortably, but I think we could use some extra moss. You can go in, I'll be back in a second," Without waiting for a reply he disappeared through the brush, searching for the dry stuff he wanted.

Midnight watches the tom leave, rolling onto her front. "Okay, I'll see you in the den." She meows, getting to her paws. Slowly, she pads into the den, laying down on the moss that was already there. She curls up, her tail covering her nose, as she waits for Basil to return.
