I honestly think dogs get a little too much attention on here, so it's nice for other species to get the spotlight sometimes.
But that's just my opinion. c:


These foxes are interesting. I wonder how the little lines on them will turn out when they grow up. :3
They kind of make me think of fishnet leggings for some reason.

They actually remind me of harps, so maybe the Fennec Fox litter has something to do with music?
And about the dragon eggs, I'm pretty sure That when I adopted them they were normal dragon eggs like the first litter from January, but then the next day they were like this! I honestly thought they had all just grown up, but I just looked at the adoptables section and the dragon eggs were the same way, so they didn't grow up? Why were they normal eggs when I adopted them?

And about the dragon eggs, I'm pretty sure That when I adopted them they were normal dragon eggs like the first litter from January, but then the next day they were like this! I honestly thought they had all just grown up, but I just looked at the adoptables section and the dragon eggs were the same way, so they didn't grow up? Why were they normal eggs when I adopted them?

I swear my heart breaks a little every time the 2nd gen isn't dogs. :( :(

There's 2,173 dogs out of 6,647 total pets. The next highest species amount is rats at 649 - that's a gap of over 1,500!

But numbers aside, I really like when we get variety in species from the artists. It keeps things a little more interesting! c:

I am reaaaally excited for the 2nd gens this month O.o

this one is probably my favourite so far. Love the markings on the ears and eyes, can't wait to see how it grows =D

The regular cats litter looks really promising too, I love these colours.

Zebras and Squids are the more prominent examples of intentionally rare lines. Even lions and dragons will probably be kept uncommon overall for lack of dressup options. So yea the numbers are by design of the queen of CS herself. And no, this post isn't meant to be rude or anything. Its just a fact.

Dogs are the easiest to make 2nd gens from as they have the most outcomes and almost all the staff has the line art (staff dogs). Some line arts we do need permission for, such as lions, where 2nd gens of them are rare and typically used for events. Not to mention dogs are the most popular breed, so their is bit of a bias to making them.
