He hadn't been here for a while and still wanted to get a nice fish and all, but he still couldn't bring himself to dip his one front paw into the cool water. He just hated the feeling of the stream and the wetness that the water caused to his fur. He sighed and slowly walked back to the center of the camp, settling for something from the prey pile instead. He took a plump sparrow and brought it to a sunny patch of grass, feeling the warmth on his fur as he squinted his eye. He bit into the bird and licked his lips, the taste of the bird was quite good and his tail went around in all directions, as if it moved on it's own.

Looking down, she realized it had only been a small leaf that had ruined her beauty sleep. She sighed and licked herself clean before stretching and walking through the brush. She sniffed out something to eat in a matter of a few minutes, there was a mouse somewhere near. She crawled low to the ground and stalked the unseen rodent before spotting it stuck inside of a rough, thick bush. She batted it around a few times until ripping it from it's trap and breaking it's little neck. She skipped back to where she had woken, beside an old tree, and started to eat the small creature. She was grateful it had been so easy to find and licked her muzzle, delighted.
|She-Cat| 8 Moons| Apprentice| Mentor: LeopardClaw| Crush: None| Tags: Open| Location: Apprentice Den| ScarletPaw awoke to the sound of birds chirping. A delightful way to wake up, but not in her book. She didn't like the mornings and wanted to stay in her cozy nest forever, but she knew she needed to get up. She brought her small body to the shade of a tree and lid down. She wasn't very hungry this morning and nibbled at the tall grass infront of her. She fluffed up her short fur and yawned again, bored out of her mind.
Man, She thought to herself as she rolled to her side,
Mornings really, REALLY suck.
