The sound of other cats paws was what woke the warrior up. Crookeddust opened his eyes and slowly stood up walking into the clearing. He saw Pebblesplash and Thornfoot going on Dawn Patrol so the warrior slowly padded over to Duskstar. "Duskstar." He meowed politely. "Should I go on Dawn Patrol or do something else. Does Willowheart need any help collecting herbs?"

The warrior nodded and started running towards the Twoleg Woods, it normally was a good place to find squirrels. Off in the distance he heard a dog barking so he better hurry up with his hunting. Crookeddust crouched down and started to sniff out the trail he caught a glimpse of a few seconds ago. There! he said to himself, seeing the busy tail. Crookeddust slowly stalked over to the creature and pounced. Barely grabbing a hold of it and knowing that the clan needed food he sunk his claws deep into the tail and put his other paw on the neck, biting it Crookeddust dug a hole and buried it. After a while of hunting Crookeddust had one squirrel, two voles and a small mouse. Though he knew he could have done better he felt like the sound of the dog barking was getting louder so he hurried back to the clan and dropped the prey in the pile. He looked at the pathetic pile and decided he might go out hunting later.

Bounceberry looked around camp. She saw Thornfoot. She took a few steps to him before she saw Pebblesplash beside him. She was smiling at him. She tilted her head, she was asking him a question. She sighed. Why bother? He was clearly busy. What to do... What to do... She decided to just go hunting by herself. No, that would give her too much time to have bad thoughts. She looked around camp for another warrior. "Hey Duskstar? You have nothing to do right? Want to go hunting?" She called. She needed someone optimistic to hunt with, to cheer her up. She had planned to go with Thornfoot as soon as she woke up, before every cat. But she heard a noise out of camp and came to look, it was just a bird but when she came back he was busy with Pebblesplash. She sighed. She had had a crush on him when they were apprentices too. She thought today was the day she wouldn't just say "Um... Sure I'll hunt with you... Yes! With our mentors of course! Yes with Pebblesplash too!" She thought she would finally have alone time with him. But now she had no time with him. She sighed. She might have time with Duskstar though...
