Ughhh I have the overwhelming urge to continue my abandoned pastry hoard, but now I need to decide which pets from the past three years to add :'D
I went and added a lot to my wishlist, but on some I'm kind of torn.


I'll be honest I can't tell if these are meant to be cake, or if they're just rats with candles on them.

I would say just add these rats, as they fit the best and I'm about 85% sure they're supposed to be cakes x^D

Small hoards update...I started like 4 more and need just ONE MORE OF THESE DOGS TO BE DONE WITH THIS ONE:

Also close to finishing a few other hoards, as I cut their intended numbers down by a LOT.

Okay, so decisions been made; I can't deal with two different rarity tags
in one hoard so i've decided to split my white porcelain dogs up in to two.

PPS are only at 13 / 20 ; hoard link and they are missing their items ;

Adults porcelains are at 88 / 100 ; hoard link


And then i've decided to make my checkered hoard a small one as well ; hoard link
of which i'm missing one blue-eyed dog and a red-eyed dog that need IDs above 2030 i think?

Oh my god, Pigeon I love you! That hoard has been lagging for like the past MONTH! Finally finished it thanks to you, so now I can move on with my others =^)

I can so understand your problems with these pets XD

I wouldn't add the fennecs, since I see your hoard as more sweet/sugary.
While some buns can be sweet, burger buns are definitely not. So duh.

The grown rat looks like some kind of cake if you squint and view that yellow part as some kind of icing, hm.
I don't see anything really cake-like on them though.
(Though you could say that they're marble cake rats? Possibly?)

And yeah duh.
I'm not for hoarding anything I don't like, so I say skip the fortune cookie dogs. Your hoard should be fun to look at, it's not about the numbers.

They look like newly shed baby crickets and I like it x'D I've always liked this pet, I'm going for 250 so far I have 0. Gotta go start trading ;3

Hmm. The hoard holds a CS record for the biggest theme hoard, so if the rats are not meant to be a type of pastry then I couldn't add them to it. Maybe I'll just go and ask sketchi about it some time. Can't hurt to know for sure ^^

Bit of a shame that the fortune cookie dogs are the only "super easy" pastry pet from the past few months; means I might make very slow progress at first, because most of the newer pets I can count for the hoard were adopted in relatively small numbers.
I guess this one should be easy, though (considering chickens aren't very popular and we could adopt enough)

I love this hoard, especially the title (I love that video game <3). I thought about making one like this a while back, with the pastry theme! I guess I can live vicariously through you for now.

Well I mean, my opinion is always that if you wanna start a hoard on something that you like, you should totes go for it, so I won't stop you, haha.

I started this hoard around the time the sequel came out, but then lost interest in continuing some time around late 2013, so it's been sitting at this odd 5.7 number for a while and even got a bit smaller.
But I feel motivated to bring it back to life, or at the very least see if I can get it to 6k. There's something sentimental about this hoard, I used to be so invested in it that it's almost sad I am not nearly as much any more.

Though to be fair, sometimes I'm glad I didn't stay as obsessed, or I'd have struggled with a much harder hoard :'3

Not that they don't still tempt me sometimes...
