Tawnypaw gasped. "Really!? I get to go out? Yay!" She ran over to Cloudchaser and jumped on her."I get to go out with you guys, and I get to see the territory and everything!" Cloudchaser purred at the young apprentice as she wiggled around on her back. "Yeah I know, and you'll learn how to hunt." Tawnypaw laughed, and suddenly her paw slipped. She fell over and tumbled a few tail lengths onto Piketails head. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Piketail I didn't mean to!" Tawnypaw exclaimed still on top of his head. Cloudchaser padded over quickly and dragged the young apprentice off the slightly older warrior. "Err... Are you alright Piketail?..." Cloudchaser asked lightly, trying not to sound rude like she was before. The new apprentice shuffled her paws anxiously beside the lithe, white and light gray fluffy warrior.

Everything happened so fast he hardly had time to think about what was happening. As the apprentice was pulled off on his, the tom shakes his head and draws a paw over his now messy fur. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've been through worst after all." Having been in the den with two young she-cats before, he often got rolled on and a crushed tail from time to time.

Cloudchaser dipped her head."Alright, come on Tawnypaw" Cloudchaser cuffed the apprentice over the ears and smiled. Tawnypaw looked up at the hyper she cat and grinned. "Alright Cloudchaser!" Tawnypaw bolted back over to the camp enterance and sat down, fidgeting, waiting for Cloudchaser and Firefur. Cloudchaser bounced over like a bunny while laughing.

Firefur smiles. It was hard not to at her apprentices antics, as her cheer was quite infectious. "Let us go," she mews, padding out of the camp at a fast enough pace to cover enough distance, but slow enough for the two shecats to keep up. Once they are quite a distance away, Firefur waves her tail. "Tawny Paw, what can you smell?" She sits, wrapping her tail around her paws neatly as she quizzes her apprentice. The scent of fresh snow stains the air as they near the Stoneclan border, and the faint stench of twoleg floats underneath it, barely detectable, but still there, warning of both the past and the future. Firefur's hair rises slightly, but she quickly settles it down, making it seems like she was just adjusting her short fur due to the chill. Twolegs. Feh.

Tawnypaw lifted her head up and sniffed around. "It kinda smells like mouse.... Wait no.... Squirrel!" Tawnypaw looked at Firefur with hope in her eyes that she had guessed right.

Surprise paints itself over Firefur's face like a sunrise paints the sky. Tawnypaw was right. In fact, both creatures had passed this way not long ago. "Both correct, good job." she mews, surprised that the apprentice had gotten it right. She turns to Cloudchaser. "Tawny Paw is a good to-be.. er.. apppppprentice," she corrects herself. It was hard for her to grow out of her tribe ways, as what she had just mewed showed. Firefur twitches her whiskers in amusement, pointing a paw toward the branches above her head. She mews cheekily to Cloudchaser. "Also, a robin's nest." The shecat purrs and gets up, leaping out of reach of Cloudchaser in case the feisty warrior attempted to land a blow.

Cloudchaser gasped happily."more eggs!" She jumped onto the trees rough bark and climbed up to the branch. Three eggs had layed there with a mother bird. Cloudchaser growled and snatched the mother bird before it knew what to do. She carried the best carefully down along with the bird and layed it at her feet.

Tawnypaw purred."yes! I got it!" She jumped up happily.

Firefur purrs at Tawnypaw, then looks up at Cloudchaser again. "What is doing?" Realization dawned in her pale lime eyes. Oh no.... "Was kidding! Was kidding Cloud Chaser!" She is going to get in trouble with clan again.. Oh no oh no.

Cinder nudges the remains of her mouse to the side. She lays down, her paws tucked under her chest as she watches the clan. So far, she had got into the clan successfully, but what should she do next? It needed to be something that would be fun.

Leopardpaw
She was about to reply when out of the blue came Tawnypaw and landed on Piketail's head. She couldn't help a small chuckle and when Cloudchaser took the apprentice away, Leopardpaw said, "Well, that one is almost as hyper as Cloudchaser. Hopefully she will calm down." She was really glad that Firefur became her mentor, because if it would have been Cloudchaser, no one would get any peace and quiet around here.
