Roukan stared at the she, stifling a light sigh. "Let's just- try. Y'know?" the beta murmured, curling his tail cautiously along her small body. He began to study the she-- her sudden actions, her pelt, her eyes.. His tufted ears pricked abruptly at a robin's slightly muted call, his nose twitching slightly. He stared down at the ground that held both of them upwards, his ears flattening. "Or, whatever you want-- I guess." he murmured, adding in the "I guess" once again.

Ayame laughed a little at his attitude, snuggling closer to him, playfully grumbling, acting as if she were him. She glanced up at Roukan, playfully snapping her jaws at him, before truthfully answering, but her tone was still teasing."I guess we could try and make this work, hm? There's always plan B, y'know." She stood up and slightly leaned against him.",.Are you hungry or something..? I could do and hunt for you. She nestled against his coat, her eyes closed.

Roukan gave a slight shrug, his shoulders sagging. "It's.. alright. I can catch us something-- you just.. rest. Or join me. " he murmured, giving her an awkward lick on the forehead before bounding out. He gnabbed at his lip, looking around for Lucien or Khar- Lucien. Something didn't feel right, causing his stomach to bubble up with immense anxiety.

Ayame sighed to herself, enjoying the awkward lick for a brief moment, shaking her head. We can make this work. I hope. She thought to herself, staying in the same place, deciding if she wanted to go with him, stay here, or go explore, just for the sake. He probably wont care if I left for a few seconds.. Right? She shrugged, deciding that he probably won't, and she stood up, stretching her small, lean body out, taking a few steps out of the den. When she stepped out, she made sure he wasn't looking, before she took her chance and darted out. I'll get something to eat later.
