"I doubt that. Don't worry, I'm sure it's just a coincidence." Sunsplash reassured her, flicking his tail. "Maybe you should get some sleep, it's been a long day. We will have battle training first thing in the morning." He told Cloverpaw with a small smile.

Looking towards the sunlight, it was hanging over the trees signaling it would be moonrise soon. She didn't feel very tired since she hadn't done a lot of training today expect for the hunting earlier. "I wanna practice a few more moves before the sun goes down, Leopardpaw was helping me with my balance for the paw swipe when you're backed against something." Still learning how to fully stand on her back legs, but she'd figure it out soon.

His ears flick up towards the apprentice den, guessing it could be considered fairly small for a cat like him. Piketail, being small, never really noticed the den filling with cats when he was an apprentice. Cloudpaw and Fallenpaw at the time were noisy but went almost unnoticed as far as space. "I've only been two gatherings so far, both when I gained my new rank. I'm sure in the next moon when you're twelve moons old, Crowstar will give you the assessment."

"I sure hope so." She replied, finishing the last bits of the squirrel. "I just want to be a warrior. To make my father proud." Leopardpaw's voice grew sad as she mentioned her father, but she forced herself to regain her happy mood, because she didnt want to ruin Piketail's already bad day with her own drama.

Firefur nods, glad for an excuse to get out of camp. "Should I get Tawnypaw to come with us?" she mews to Cloudchaser. "Could give her tour of territory and maybe teach hunting," she muses. The tortie glances at the elders den, taking notice of how shabby it was. If see any brambles or vines might bring back for den. Even though Firefur wasn't friendly towards Cinder, even she had to admit no cat should have to sleep in a broken den. She had experianced it herself during her travels, and it wasn't fun.

Cloudchaser nodded. "The more paws the better! She's over by Iceshadow." Cloudchaser pointed with her tail over to the black and orange speckled apprentice."I'll meet you by the camp enterance once you get her." She got up and padded over to the opening in the camp, passing Piketail and Leapordpaw in the process.was I to hard on Piketail?.... No, you have a right to be mad. The clan now has another mouth to feed, and that flea bag of a rogue doesn't even seem like she cares about any of this! Cinder is just so rude... she swished her tail as she walked past and kept her eyes focused on the camp entrance.

Her face turns a bit red with embarrassment having spoken so highly of herself in the past. Standing up and backing away two steps from her mentor, she rears back onto her hind legs. Her tail half curled behind her and rested on the ground to help her keep balance, swiping her paws at the air in front of Sunsplash's muzzle even though he was too far away to reach. Only getting about three paw swipes in, she loses her balance and awkwardly stumbles back down to all four paws. "Still practicing though, everyday!"

Blinking at her a few times, he never recalled her brining up her parents before. He faintly remembered her father being around but one day he seemed to just vanish overnight. Perhaps it was just his own lack of attention, but the tom died and the clan hardly spoke of it since. "We've all had loss sadly, but that only strengths the bond we have with our clan-mates. Bluewhisker's father died in a rabbit snare I heard, not really sure what happened to Cloverpaw's father..." Looking at his paws as if sad, but he was avoiding Cloudchaser's gaze as she passed by.

"Yeah, it does. Just, sometimes I wish he would just speak to me. But Starclan has been silent for a while now." She said, glancing up at the darkening sky. When she heard pawsteps nearby, her attention snapped back to reality and she saw Cloudchaser walk past with an almost superior look in the she-cat's eyes and Leopardpaw couldn't help her fur bristling along her spine.

He watched as Cloverpaw showed him the move she had been practicing and even if she only managed a couple of swipes, he was glad to see an improvement in such a short time. "That's actually quite good. In a couple of days you will have your balance right and then youre going to learn that move perfectly." Sunsplash said with confidence in his apprentice. "Your tail is better, but try straightening it out a bit more."

She knew she should follow her mentors advice, but sometime having a straight tail made her feel wobbly. If that's how a warrior should do it, she'd have to practice more. "Of course I'm good! Even when your out on a border patrol I'm practicing my stalking and pounces. I want to be just like you when I'm a warrior, so I have to try real hard." Crouching down and wriggling her body; much like a kit would pounce she wasn't focusing on any real prey. Taking a spring she lands on a leaf about two tail lengths away with a grin on her face.

The sky was slowly dimming from sunhigh, but it was still to bright to see Silverpelt. "We aren't medicine cats, Starclan will always be silent for us I've heard... I only walked Starclan once with my mother the night I became a warrior before I stood for my vigil. Maybe you'll see family then too." It was the night Starclan accepted an apprentice into the warrior rank, it only made sense they were there to see it.
