"Meh," said Milo, not wanting to talk about that. "He's a nice guy. Not a very good fighter, though, or he would have seen it coming."

Ingo her a thud an some grumbling in the kitchen, she saw Patric stumble out and then she went to investigate. She saw Ella and Milo leaning against one another, not wanting to interfere she went back to Xaria,"Fancy a game of blackjack?"she said.

Xaria shrugged. "Never played but... Do we have any cards?" She asked, playing with her scarf with a sigh. She pulled it from her neck, threading it around her fingers boredly.

"No, I have no cards and I only suggested it because I thought you might know what it is, I personally have no idea how to play" Ingo said whilst going a little bit pink.

Xaria sighed, scratching the back of her head. "Playing card games and gambling were not suitable behaviour for a respectable lady." She explained in her dainty voice. "There wasn't much I could do. Embroidery and reading gets repetitive after a while..."

[intriguing]

"What's embroidery? I mean how do you do it? Ooh, we could do a skill swap, i show you wood carving and you show me embroidery or something.How about that?"

Xaria nodded. "Let's see if I have my needle and thread..." She said, going down to look through her meagre belongings. She smiled, pulling out the sharp metal and a spool of thread.

Ingo went to get her needle, thread and material scraps because she saw that's what Xaria was doing, she also got ther best carving tools and sharpened them. She was eager to learn!

Xaria smiled, walking out of her room. "Right... I only know six types of stitches: cross, blanket, straight, chain, running and satin." She told her. "The running stitch is easiest, so we'll start with that." She said, settling herself on the floor.

"I can do a simple running stitch, if that's what you call it, for mending clothes, it's the other ones i'm interested in" Ingo said excitedly, she was desperate to learn the new stitches so she could become a better needleswoman.
