Blazepaw couldn't sit still. He was bouncing around beside Tawnypaw and Heronpaw. Tawnypaw was sitting still with her chest fur puffed out in pride that she had gotten her apprentice name, while Heronpaw had turned to stare at all the cats calling her new name. "This is awesome! I can't wait to see who my mentor is!" Blazepaw yowled.

Cloudchaser tilted her head towards the sky, and called out as loud as she could, "HERONPAW, BLAZEPAW, TAWNYPAW!!!!" She started laughing watching Blazepaw jump around like a physco.it wasn't that long ago I was like them, she thought. Cloudchaser sighed, knowing that some cats thought that her warrior name could have waited. i wish that some cats could just look past that! I'm more than just a inexperienced, young warrior like they think.... Even if I am maybe a bit hyper... she shook the thought away and watched the new apprentices. Now wasn't the time to feel sorry for herself, it was the time to rejoice in the new apprentices.

She looked around, her eyes shining brightly, when she suddenly spotted that something wasnt right. Piketail was not in camp and she realized that he should returned by now. Where could he be ? Worry started to creep onto her and she jumped to her paws, heading straight for the camp entrance, hoping she wouldn't attract much attention, she didn't have time to answer the questions of someone asking where she was headed. After Leopardpaw slipped out of camp, she raised her nose, trying to catch Piketail's scent. After a few moments she found his trail and padded forward, hoping that nothing had happened. After a few moments of walking, she saw a familiar figure in the distance. Breathing a sigh of relief she trotted up to Piketail,only to notice that he seemed to be in a very bad mood. "Are you alright ?" She asked instantly, concern sparking in her wide blue eyes.

Iceshadow watched the ceremony, smiling as he watched the hyper apprentices

He hardly has the energy to lift his head and look at Leopardpaw, too filled with mixed emotions to think straight. Knowing he had to her for her sake, the tom takes a deep breath in and exhales, attempting to clear his mind for a moment. "I'm fine, just thinking about my parents in Starclan... What might have happened if no one took me in for the first few moons after they died. I didn't train, just sat in the nursery ya know?" If he'd ran away, would someone like Cinder have killed him without a second thought?

Her gaze grew softer, but rather in understanding than pity. Her father had died when she was just three moons old and she knew what it felt like to loose someone you love, even if she hadn't experienced it to such an extent as Piketail had. "Hey, don't think like that. You weren't left alone and you fought through it like the warrior that you are. Your parents would be proud. It's not easy to get over something like that." She said in a soothing tone, gazing right into his eyes.

"No, they wouldn't." He meows sternly, glaring at his paws hatefully at what he'd done. "I tried to show a stranger kindness because everyone deserves that much, a chance to change or explain themselves. But they turned out to be a terrible cat who would joke about killing kits and mocked our leader and I've done nothing to stop her." He mutters, not sure what a cat his size could do if she managed against Crowstar. He wasn't the best fighter, was smaller than the average cat, and now he feared Lichenstorm and Crowstar would banish him from the clan for his laziness in defending the territory.

Cinder waits for the tom to leave before leaping down from her tree, following the tom's scent. The scent of clan cats grows stronger as she approaches camp. She trots in casually and sits near the camp entrance, waiting for a cat to notice her.

She decided not to question him on the details of what he had just told her and instead she shook her head, putting on the same calm, kind tone she had used before. "Listen. Attacking anything that crosses the border is easy. But showing kindness and trying to give someone a chance to explain themselves and making your own opinion about them before acting, that's what takes some strength of character."

Cloudchaser watched a butterfly flutter past her nose. She turned around to watch it while it flew onto the bush near the Warriors den. It's wings were a brilliant yellow with black spots as dark as the night. It got up from its spot and fluttered out of the camps enterance, when Cloudchaser saw black fur out of the corner of her eye. She looked at where it was coming from and saw Cinder sitting at the camp enterance. Her eyes widened but soon turned to slits as she yowled. "Get out of our camp you piece of fox dung!" She took a few steps towards Cinder and got ready to pounce if she made any sudden moves.
