Fadedpaw grinned widely and then swiftly ducked under Leafpaw's stomach, scratched it softly, and growled. Jumping up and leaping into the air, ready to pounce on his friend, he landed on her back and rolled her over.

Windkit purred and walked in. "Need help?" she asked, sitting down beside the young she-cat.

Moonlake watched the apprentices and stood there silently. Smiling, she sat down proudly.

Leafpaw's eyes widened as Fadedpaw flipped her over, knocking the breath out of her. She took a moment to regain her breath before jabbing her hindpaws into his underbelly, seizing the chance to slip away from him and roll back on to her paws. She found herself panting, acutely aware of a dull ache distantly flooding her shoulder. She shook off the feeling and locked her eyes onto Fadedpaw.
