We fought for our land. Some too hard,but all losing everything. After our numbers started crashing, we all ran to the valley, and hid like cowards. But... it was like we knew we were waiting for something. Something to save our home, some glimmer of hope somewhere from the dark. Then... He came. "Hahaha~ Hello there friend!" He didn't look like any of the lions we knew. But something told us we would never be the same after meeting him. He handed us a vial of his voodoo and told us "If you really wish to save your home, you all should partake in this, but I warn. Once you drink it, there is no going back. But there is only new beginning.~" Though his appearance was unsettling. What position could we really have to say no. We were hunted down to despicable numbers. So we took part in the ritual. When we came to in the morning. We felt stronger, more capable. And more alive. The Doctor's howling roar echoed over the valley. It felt as powerful as we felt and full of the same vigor. We roared and howled as well. We will keep fighting. And spreading this power for the good of our land. The Juymara Pride will grow and save our fellow beasts. And we will conquer the destroyers. Our planet depends on it.. On us.

Kips:
Kips are gender less and require care (ie: art, character development, love, nurturing, ect) in order to grow to different stages. Depending on the care given in teen years, it will become either male or female. The design you see stays pretty much the same, but there can be changes, such as solid body colors turning into a more gradient and natural look. but for the most part what you see is what you get.

Character Bio: Free spirited and more than a bit reckless, Castro is the kip you can always expect to be up for an adventure. Though he often rushes into unpleasant situations head first, he typically has enough charisma to charm his way out quickly enough for another to arise. Those around him say that he was blessed with a built in compass at birth and a fire in his eyes. Cas is confident and proud of his feats, and enjoys large groups when he is at the center of them. A problem child at best, Castro can almost always be found causing havoc to the pride when he's not off on another one of his exploits. He is sharp and cunning, and is equipped with abnormally keen survival instincts. Overall, he is adaptable, ambitious, friendly, creative, and pioneering. As well rounded as Cas may be, however, he is also plagued by numerous flaws. His self-discipline is non-existent, which serves as an annoyance to most. he can also be rather belligerent, as well as foolish. Castro is also a bit self-centered and haughty, which he never tries to hide as he doesn't really see a problem with it. If you ever come across this kip, you can expect to be mesmerized by his tales, amazed by his flexibility and swagger, and a little put off by his boastfulness.

growing up alone in the desert was the easy part. resembling akumio, and having to deal with Akumio claiming Somari as her father, was the hard part. being told what to do, where to go, where to sleep, how to eat, where to drink, who to talk to, everything you can imagine. Somari understands Akumio's interests, but some days she just can't stand him.

Character Bio: Shere Khan was born during the hardest part of a drought. He was weak and feeble at the start, his father convinced his mother that he wouldn't survive down the road and it was best to leave the Kip. She refused. She stayed with her baby until he was strong enough to walk and play like any other Kip. She sacrificed her own strength for this, the drought had drained her, she grew weak while Shere Khan grew strong.
She had lost hope in her own surviving but she was sure her Kip could. A few days of keeping an eye out for any other Juymara, she found a yellow maned male walking along late into the night. She begged for this strange male to take her son and raise him to be a tough Juymara. Axel reluctantly agreed, awkward greeting the Kip. Shere Khan was confused as well.
It wasn't long after that that she had passed away..
It was a sad day, ever since Shere Khan has been with Axel, who does his best to be kind to the young one.

Character Bio:
Being an orphan meant Mowgli didn't have a home, he simply stayed with whomever would take him, and he had a few decent relationships with his foster parents but he did have quite a few "foster" parents as he was moving around consistently and after awhile he failed to form any real emotional connection towards any of them. The best relationships he ever had were ones with the other kips as they were a constant in his life because while he bounced from Juymara to Juymara, the kips were always there and he always could count on them. His best friends in the pride were the younger kips, Morrigan and Caspian, because they had the same shared experiences as they didn't grow up with their biological parents, but they never bounced from Juymara to Juymara as they luckily had Juymaras who wanted to keep them. Mowgli was a bit bitter about this, but he never held it against the two kips as they couldn't help anything that happened to them. Now, however, Mowgli is much happier as he resides with Caspian's adoptive parents and one could argue that they're like brothers, but Mowgli feels that they're more like best friends and prefers to separate their relationship from the words 'family' or 'siblings'.

Character Bio: Dogo is more called a tiny Peter Pan. He acts like when he was just a tiny kip! He has the most energy than anyone and could race a cheetah and win! Risay is a happy and calm little kip, always trying to keep the peace during arguments. Most see them as the peacemaker of the pride, not that he minds that though. While the other younger Kips played and cause mischief within the pride, you will find Risay right on the sidelines, trying to talk them out of it in fear of being dragged into their mischief. Risay finds the pride honor to extremely important to him, and hopes one day that he can make his ancestors proud of him.
