"So, you were a pack wolf." White Flame noted to himself, "I am sorry about your mate and your pack." He thought for a moment and wondered that if Xavier would drive him out if he told him about— No, Xavier wouldn't do that; he would understand. White Flame pushed the thought away and shuddered; he shouldn't be worrying about that right now. "What position did you hold in your pack?" White Flame asked quickly.

Daze

Daze grinned and chuckled. He sprinted after her and felt the wind blow through his fur. His powerful shoulders rippled, and he kept up right behind her. Daze could see the camp coming into view and he pushed himself harder to try to catch up to the white fae.

(ALSO!!! I think irl I'm going to make Star and Xavier siblings not mates bc they are cute as siblings. I will probably make them mates later, or someone can win their hearts and I'll see about mating if anyone is interested)

Star spread her three tails and noticed the brute catching up. Her tails gave her extra balance. She loped towards camp, speeding away from the brute. With each step she kicked up dirt behind her, hoping to slow the brute down. The wind carried away her joyous laugh as she burst towards camp.

Xavier smiled. "The camp is this way." He began to walk towards camp. He was very stiff, ready to jump into action. With heat season coming, he was always alert. He didn't want this brute near his sister, but the pack needed new wolves. Besides, what if this is the one Star ends up with?

"I was lead warrior; I was very trusted by our alpha, I thought I could trust him. I learned the hard way." Blaze barked, almost whined, but he swallowed it. "You see, alpha was my littermate."

"Lead warrior?" White Flame raised an eyebrow, "your own brother. Huh?" He sighed and softened his expression. "It is always the ones who are the closest who tend to turn on you," White Flame commented but mostly to himself. "My alpha isn't like that; he is kind and sweet, but very protective of his pack. If you are going to join, you will have to put all of your past struggles behind you and join a family that you would have to be willing to die for. And if you are as good at fighting as you say you are, my brother would be more than happy to test you in order to see if you are fit to be a warrior." White Flame gave the loner a half-smile.

Daze

Daze spat and shook the dirt from his fur. He snorted and thundered forward after her. You would think that after racing this fae back to camp so many times, he would at least be able to tie with her. As they entered camp, he skid to a stop and tried to catch his breath. "Well, I guess you won," he panted to Star and stretched out his back legs.

"Thank you, White Flame. Yes, I'd be willing to put aside my past. I sure hope Xavier forgives me!" Blaze said, amusement in his bark. "It's great that you know the pack is like family. I would love to become one of your pack." Blaze said happily.

"I am sure Xavier will consider you, but the wolf you need forgiveness from is Star," White Flame said with a slight laugh, "She can hold grudges, but I think she will see that you made a mistake that you wouldn't be willing to make again." He shook out his fur, "Before you put aside your past, is there anything I should know?" White Flame asked to make sure that he wasn't making a mistake.

Star pressed her tail down harder. "No, we haven't talked a lot recently. Sorry." She kept her mouth shut, remembering the secret White Flame had told her. "Lets go back. I'm feeling much better." She barked to Daze, even though she just felt worse. She wanted to get away from all of the males. She hated being in heat, but it gave her a strong craving to have pups, though she didn't want them just yet.

Xavier smiled. "The camp is this way." He began to walk towards camp. He was very stiff, ready to jump into action. With heat season coming, he was always alert. He didn't want this brute near his sister, but the pack needed new wolves. Besides, what if this is the one Star ends up with?

Latke

He followed the alpha, but not too close he could feel tension coming from him. His first thought was maybe it was him, he was an outsider after all. So he kept quiet and his head low, silently he began to imagine what this new pack would be like.

"Yes, I should work that out with star." Barked blaze, standing up. "Well, I'm afraid that my brother is after me. I left him, but he forced me out! What did he expect me to do, bow to him and surrender?!" He barked loudly. Realizing that he just said the aloud, he wrapped his tail around his paws "Eh... Sorry bout that."

Star collapsed on the floor and laughed. "What is that? Star 100 Daze 0?" She teased. She began to lick her paws, her heat scent growing stronger as the day went by.

Xavier entered the camp, and the first thing to hit his nose was Star's heat. His fur raised slightly, but he quickly lowered it to seem calm. He jumped up on his rock and howled to call the pack.

Star looked at Xavier when he howled for a pack meeting. She watched Latke carefully as she waited for her brother to begin.

Daze chuckled, "I don't think one hundred..." He trailed off and shiftened his gaze over to Xavier. He eyed the wolf and recognized him as the loner that he and White Flame had seen earlier. He began to wonder where his brother nad the loner that attacked Star was. Daze shook out his fur and reminded himself not to worry.

"It is okay. I am sure that if he dared to come all the way to our territory, it would be a dreadful mistake," White Flame assured the wolf. He heard Xavier's howl and perked his ears. "I guess that should be our cue," White Flame wanted to see what was going to happen with Latke, and maybe it would be best to bring Blaze back to the pack close to the same time as the other loner. He stood up and began to pad back towards camp.
