Xaria bit her lip. "I don't know... I don't like interfering..." She mumbled, scratching the back of her neck uncertainly.

"Good point...well if any fights break out we might have to interfere, what shall we do then?" Asked Ingonot knowing what to do.

Patric laughed and wiped the frosting off his face with the corner of his hand and licked it off. He turned halfway around to reach for the powdered sugar that was about to fall off of the roughly hewn wooden table and saw the black-haired deckhand, still standing outside with a mop, still glaring furiously at him. The redhead pushed the sugar into a safe position on the table and asked Ella again, "Why is that deckhand glaring at me? Did I do something wrong?"

"I dont know." Ella laughed. She kept frosting the cake. "You wanna help with the appetizers?" She asked. She pulled out a package of crackers. "Polly want a cracker?" She laughed, holding one out to him.

Milo caught Patric's question, and Ella's answer. I don't know?! His mind filled with an angry buzzing as he saw Patric take the cracker with a grin and a polite bow. He took a step forwards and asked, "Excuse me, are you new to the Maiden?"

Patric heard the deckhand ask him a question, but couldn't quite hear over the sound of the bubbling pots and whatnot. He took a step out of the galley and into the sun, asking, "Excuse me?" The deckhand- who was shorter than Patric by a few inches- clenched a fist but asked kindly, "Are you new?" Patric nodded. "Indeed. Why do you ask?" The boy brought his clenched fist slightly forwards, and said, "We have a certain code of conduct I think you should know about." Patric nodded slightly, eager to learn. "Indeed?" He didn't see the boy move until his fist slammed into the taller boy's eye. Patric stumbled and clutched his face, and Milo tackled him, sending them to the deck with a crash.

Ella figured they were just going to talk. She set the cake on a nearby counter, out of the way. She started on the appetizers, making a loaf of bread with various spreads. She also added some meat slabs and walked out on deck. She saw Milo hit Patric. "Milo! What are you doing?" She asked, dropping the platter and running to him, holding him back. Or attempting to any way.

Milo swung out of Ella's hold and punched Patric in stomach, but then the girl caught his arms and held them so he couldn't pull away again. He shot Patric a furious glare, then glanced at Ella. This was all Patric needed to see what was going on, even if Ella hadn't caught it.
