Birdy and her brother, Runner were born to Breeze and Storm, two loners. Birdy stayed a loner for the first 7 moons of her life. She met a rogue named Scorched and fell in love with him. One day he attacked her and tried to kill her, causing her brother trying to save her and getting killed in the process. Birdy ran away and found Stoneclan. Once she joined, she earned her name Soaringpaw. Even though she started her apprenticeship late, Soaringpaw learned quickly and was able to become a warrior by the time she was 13 moons, getting the name Soaringbird.
