Travis smiled, "I use a trick.... I mostly go my the river about a mile away from here, all the herds go there to drink and if you catch one off guard its a meal for the week." He said as he continued to eat, he never really had interactions with female but he was glad this one was not afraid of him.

She thought about his words for a moment and then replied, "Good idea, but I think it suits you more than me. My den is about a league from here, and I doubt I could pull even a deer carcass all the way there. Even at that, rabbits and fish are enough for me. Big game is more of a want than a need, at least in my opinion." Aspen licked around a bone and tore a few more pieces off, swallowing them with gusto. "If you don't mind me asking, where do you come from? If you do mind, that's alright, too. I've no need to meddle in your history if I'm not invited." she woofed in between swallows, looking at Travis.

Surely Northe would understand what she was doing? That's what she assumed; it was a self explanatory plan. She lunged forward at the deer, raking her claws against the buck's hindquarters. She let out a loud snarl at the animal, and was aware of its hooves that it thrusted into the air at her. She dodged the hind legs, feeling a breeze as one grazed the side of her face. She let out a growl as the buck ran in Northe's direction. She stayed on its heels, ready to lunge again once Northe made his move.

Northe still had no clue what she was implying with her silent signals, since he's never hunted with anyone before, cursing himself because of his low stamina, he sprinted and lunged with a low growl, concerned about the blow that Gem took to the face. He dug into the buck, waiting for Gem's move now, making sure he hung on, his canines digging into the deer's neck.

"Turn by the thick oak tree and pass the bushes," he said, showing her the path in front of them. "I'm starting to question this pack. We haven't seen anyone in 2 days." He grunted loudly and the sound of a deer shuttered in the distance. "Whoops, I scared him off," he laughed.

She thrusted herself at the buck, latching onto its hind leg. She bit down hard, keeping her grip despite the wild flails that jerked her. She then backed off before attacking again, this time aiming for the deer's abdomen. Between the effort of the two wolves, the buck's movements grew weaker, and eventually it succumbed and slumped to the ground. Gem jumped back, watching the deer carefully; her breaths came as pants, and she licked the blood on her muzzle.

Misty yawned and looked up. She saw Seraph guarding the camp, as usual. "Haven't seen you in a while," Misty remarked.

Seraph nodded. Her shift was nearly over, and another guard would take her place to guard the afternoon shift. "I guess it has been a while." Seraph realized, trying to remember. "Though I have heard you have a mate now." She winked, a devious smile on her face.

"Welll im going to go.." she said and padded off to the pack camp she went up to the enterance not noticing the two wolfs and padded right in. She looked around for Shade.

Shade was hungry- he realized he hadn't had a lot to eat lately. Shade nodded to his sister, Seraph, before slipping away into the misty woods. Sniffing, he found Kooma's scent instead.
