Mom bought me this.. journal for me to write in. She though I could express my feelings in it, since I'm so shy.. Phoneix High is where I go to school. I'm starting as a freshmen this year.. and.. um..
I don't know what else to say..
H-how rude of me! I forgot to introduce everyone..
I'm Shayla, The nerdy and.. shy girl..


This is my dad.. Niamhi.. He has a tribal name, and he's where I get all of my white-ness from..
He such an embarrassment on the first days of school.. But other than that, I love him.


Mom.. She's pretty, um.. chill I guess you could say. Her name is Mayily and she's in love with flowers. I named my book after her..



Ella.. my little sister. She's obsessed with candy and flowers. She loves monkeys too, and she tries to steal my dog from my room.

I almost forgot! My dog! His name is Ember and he's a bernerse mountain dog. I found him in an alleyway and practically saved his life. He's a big baby too, lol.

My mom's calling us for dinner. I have to go. Bye!

Here's Vitali, or Vita. She'll stand up for us.. anytime. She's kinda our spokesperson and we're lucky to have her. She was my first friend here.


Jack.. I've always had a small crush on him, but It's gone now, since I realize we'll be only friends all our life.. But he's always been clumsy. Even more clumsy than me. he's fallen on me sometimes, and I was blushing like crazy after that.. It sucked..


Jenny.. She's sick.. so many times a year.. Her average days missed of the school year are 40 days. I don't know what else... to say, but she's always getting hurt every week. She's a.. i feel so bad for saying this.. but she's kinda a crybaby. She's a weak nut to crack... and gets bruised easily, so we tend to lightly hug her and not playfully punch her or anything like that.

Today's Sunday. I'm worried for tomorrow. I'm so scared too. I don't like school, honestly. Because of these rude and stupid girls.
Also, just so you know, I'm gonna draw them in their stupid favorite outfits.

Anyways, time to tell you about my day.

I woke up at 8:00am, feeling Ember slobbering on my face. I pushed him off, making a grossed out face. "Eww, Ember!" I sleepily and quietly yelled at him. I yawned, getting up and fluffing my hair out. I then walked into my bathroom, brushing my hair. I fluffed out my hair again, and before I walked out of the room, I grabbed my iPaw, putting my earbuds in and then I lumbered out of my room to get something to eat. I opened the cabinets, pulled out a cinnamon poptart and trudged up to my room.

A few hours later, when my mum got home from work, about noon. "Afternoon, Shayla." She said to me as she passed my room. I was drawing, listening to my Ipaw with only one earbud in. "Morning!" I mumbled, my mouth still full of the cookie I stuffed in my mouth as I heard her car park. She didn't notice the cookie though, luckily. Ember went after her to give her a greeting, like he usually did when my mom and dad got home. My sister Ella came into my room, and basically begged me to give her my last cookie. "Ugh, Ella, No." I barked at her. "It's mineee!" She growled playfully and tried to push my off the bed."Pfft, You'll have to try harder than tha-Eep!" I yelped as Ella sat on me. She may not be strong, but she's surely heavier than me! Ember heard me and basically sprinted over and barked at Ella. She yelped, getting off of me. "Ember! You scared me!" She barked happily. "Bye sis!" She then ran out of the room to go talk to mom. I rolled my eyes, grinning at Ember. "Thank you, Ember." I said. Crazy pup, talking to a dog.

Skip another few hours to when my dad gets home, about 5:00 pm. My mom was in the kitchen preparing some tortellini for us. Ella was outside, picking flowers. Ember was with her, sniffing the flowers before She picked them. I was outside, watching Ella and Ember pick flowers. Suddenly, Mom opened the window and yelled, "Dinner's Ready!" We all rushed inside and sat down at the table. Except, Ember, who sat under the table waiting for food scraps. We all ate until we were full, and me & and were the first ones to leave the table. I was tired, and just remembered tomorrow was school. I went to bed, then woke up a couple minutes later and wrote in here.

So yeah.. G'night Flower Book...

Ugh.. School today was.. okay, I guess.. No homework at least. Story time! *sarcastic yay*

I woke up, yawning and stretching. I then forced myself out of bed, trudging down to the kitchen, getting a cinnamon poptart, and trudging back to my room. I ate it quickly, looking at the time. "Thank god.." I mumbled, seeing it was 6:30 a.m, which is the time I need to get ready for school. I went over to my closet, opening it and looking for an outfit. I saw a blue sweater, shorts and blue coverse. I quickly changed into that and went to brush my hair and teeth. I hate and I say, hate, the color brown. Literally, If I wear a brown shirt, I'll have to put a sweater over it, even if it's 100 degrees. I'm not kidding, but anyways, I rushed downstairs, grabbed my backpack and headed outside to wait for the bus. As usual, the bus came at 6:40 and I was pretty much ready in 5 minutes. I climbed onto the bus, and sat in an empty seat. Unfortunately, I learned that only Jack, rode my bus... Yay..! I saw him get on after my stop. I blushed lightly, not dark enough for anyone to see though. I've gotten good with that. He realized I was on the bus and smiled.

If you guys don't remember a picture of what he looks like, here it is.

Here's how our conversation went :

Jack : Hey, Shayla. How's the summer been?
Me : U-um.. It's been fine.. How's.. Yours been...?
Jack : Heat-filled..*chuckles*
Me : *nervously laughs*
Jack : *slowly stops and looks at me* You okay? You're acting kinda.. nervous and flustered.
Me : J-just nervous for school, alright?
Jack : *nods and begins to read a book*
Me : *screams internally*

Once we got off the bus, I hurried to my class and basically waited 'till the bell rang.

I'll just skip to lunch, while I'm writing this..

So basically, I figured out, the lunches are completely.. amazing. I'm not kidding, if you'd like to get a pizza, it pretty much tastes like Little Ceasers. Or however you spell it >:O I'm very glad that today isn't spaghetti, like last year. Pretty much, the wannabe freaking dumped her plate all over as I was walking away from the trashcans and made a horrible pun. It was terrible. I had sauce stains on my new t-shirt all year. A-anyways, I won't be able to write in my other classes, so bye Flower Book!
