Sorrelkit struggles out of the bramble bush as soon as she notices Goldenpaw in danger. She runs at the fox, her jaws spread in a loud hiss. Brambles stuck every which way out of her pelt. The kit was a day from 6 moons, larger than a kit of her age, more like apprentice sized, and she added to this with her long fur fluffed as much as she could. The wild look in the kits eyes was terrifying. This is too much like Sagekit's death! The fox look at what appeared to be three apprentices bearing down on him. His tail and leg stung were Berrypaw bit him, and his nose was swollen. He hissed before turning and fleeing the camp.

Goldenpaw sighed. "thank you. Whoever that was." he gently stood up, trying to steady himself. "are there any leaves nearby? If I can clean this blood off my face i should be Ok."

The light marmalade kit grabs some bramble fronds from the ground, dragging them to Goldenpaw. "Will bramble fronds work?" she mews to the tom. "If not, I can find something else." Her ears flatten whenever she hears a cat's yowl, or a fox's hiss, but she is thankful they are getting a moments peace.

"they're ok." he said, rubbing his face on the leaf until the blood was gone. "thank you, sorrelkit. " he took a deep sniff. "thank you, Berrypaw, too. I would be dead if it wasn't for you."

"Thanks Starclan it fled! The other one really gave me a headache. Goldenpaw are you ok?" She aproached the tom and sniff the air. " Me and Sparrowpaw should go help the others if you are ok. Try not to get in trouble! Take care of this kit! And you" She smiled to the kit."Take care of Goldenpaw!"

"thats a cool name. It's better than my kit name. " he smiled. "when I was younger, I was known as Blindkit. Then, I was apprenticed for two moons before my mentor and mother, Nightlight, died. I was blindpaw then. Now I'm Goldenpaw. " he smiled. "you're a rogue, did you ever hear of nightlight? "

She smiles, although she now knows he can't see it. "Goldenpaw describes you very well." She stops, thinking for a moment at his question. She shakes her head. "Sorry, no. I haven't been in this area for very long, and I tend to stay away from other cats." She stands, leaping out of the way of a fox that had stumbled back during the fight before it lunged back into the fray. Sorrelkit twitched an ear, explaining what just happened to Goldenpaw. "A fox almost ran into us backtreading from a blow, but its gone now."

"It looks like we're winning," she mews with a wry smile.

"yeah. It seems so." he laughed a little. "mind you, she died two moons ago. She became a... Rogue tale. People told of her, but I guess the rumours have died down amongst the rogue lands." he scented the air. "theres few foxes now."

Foxstripe was grateful for Blueheart's help as she slashed the fox. She pricked her ears in between giving the fox a hard scratch on its eye, hearing a yowl. Foxstripe recognized it as Threeleg's. "I'll be right back, Blueheart!" She hared towards the medicine cat den, seeing a fox grasping Threeleg's good hind leg. She let out a ferocious yowl of vengeance, and leaped on the attacker fox, her claws locked onto his shoulders as she held onto it. She raked her teeth down its spine, her amber eyes burning to slits.
