She nodddd, raising her muzzle to see if she could possibly track Foxpaw's scent. At his words, her reaction was a cross between a chuckle and a huff. It came out sounding like a hmph, and she flashed him a glance. At this point, she wasn't going to get flustered again, but that didn't mean she was just going to roll around and laugh at the statement like a loopy squirrel. Her look seemed rather blank and emotionless, but it wasn't by any means harsh or annoyed looking. "He went off in that direction before." She pointed with her tail, "But his scent is faded so he must've traveled elsewhere."

"Yes." Silversun said. "It might of been forgotten, but my kits still hate me. They never talk to me. I try. They only snap. If you leave it too long you'll end up like. Careful how long you keep it from them." Silversun sighed.

Fadedecho's eyebrows furrowed. How did Silversun possibly know that he was the father of the kits...? Or was she maybe referring to Beetlenose? He decided to let it slide, and he nodded in agreement. He honestly didn't agree with her though, he didn't want to tell the kits. At all. They didn't deserve to know, or at least- it might ruin their future or their ambitions. They might want to be deputy or even leader someday, and they might ruin their plans because of their selfishness. He kept his mouth shut though because he wasn't sure if Silversun knew, and he didn't want to give anything away. His dark blue eyes widened in alarm as Beetlenose shrieked about a spider. He couldn't help but giggle slightly as she freaked out over something way smaller than her... and that was saying something since Beetlenose was pretty small. The medicine cat apprentice, previously the temporary medicine cat, quickly rushed over to his forbidden mate and swiped the spider off of her pelt with a swish of his tail. He stomped on it and smiled as it squished underneath his paw. He then looked down at the medicine cat den floor and then back up at Beetlenose. "There, are you okay now?" he asked in concern.

She stared at the floor of the apprentice den, thinking. Lunarpaw heard all the mean things she has said to others, and saw their reactions. She then saw the times they were mean to her. Lunarpaw let out a small whimper.

Fadedecho nodded, and he smirked at her. "You're scared of a spider that's way smaller than you," he teased, his eyes shining as he turned around and headed toward his nest. He thought it was adorable, but hilarious as well. He loved Beetlenose, and she almost always seemed to try and be brave, so when she wasn't it was rather shocking, yet fun.

Berrypaw was over by the fresh-kill pile, lying down and chewing a delicious thrush. She spat out the feathers and soon enough finished up the piece of prey. She licked her lips as she stood to her paws and glanced over at Lunarpaw, wondering why she was whimpering. She never really spoke to the apprentice, she always seemed to be in the middle of a bunch of drama so she sort of avoided her... but she felt concern for her clanmate. No cat deserved to be whimpering, and not get any attention or comfort. She padded over to her and didn't sit down, as she asked, "What's wrong?"

Fadedecho rolled his eyes playfully and then curled up inside of his nest. He was exhausted and soon fell into a deep sleep, closing his eyes and dreaming about hunting a nice, plump, mouse.
