He sniffed and took more of them out of the air, reading them all
His stomach twisted as he set them on his desk, and took his lab coat off
The great white wings he had fluttering behind him, as if they were happy to be out
He stormed out of his lab and skidded out into the hallway, falling a few times before he ran outside and opened his wings
Taking flight almost instantly and flying outside her window to grab the rest

She banged her head on her desk.
Multiple times.
"I'm so stupid..."
She grabbed the last of them, and she threw them out.
"I'm just..."
She fell to the floor.
She was sobbing.

He was pounding his wings to stay in the air, grabbing a couple more
And saw her in her lab, hovering in front of the window while looking in and around
And saw her crying
"Fraulein..." he said softly and bit his lip, putting his elbows on the sill

More of them just barely got to the window.
Sonya laid there, with her hands on her head.
Weeping until she ran out of tears.

He frowned and climbed inside, tucking his wings in behind him before carefully coming over to her
And getting to his knees
Moving to pull her up gently
And hugged her close

She felt the hands wrapped around her.
She saw they were his.
Kris' hands.
"Y-you saw them, didn't you...?"

He nodded softly and was silent for a moment
"Ja.." He said and continued to hug her

She held onto his hands.
