He opened his mouth to reply before he heard the large cracking noise from above. Every hair on his body stood on end as the tom dropped his shrew and quickly started to claw his way up the tree. "Leopardpaw..!" His voice cracked slightly between the worry and stress of something happening under his watch to an apprentice of her age.

Nodding to the apprentice, he pads away with a serious look on his face; unable to come up with an answer. The twolegs had always been destructive when it came to nature or other creatures, but he had no idea they'd been coming so close to camp. Close enough to scare Crowstar anyway... "Starclan can't stop twolegs, best to keep the patrols small and frequent for now. We don't want anyone getting lost or separated if something happens, three cats can stick together better than five..." He mutters, wanting the warriors to keep that in mind from now on.

CLOUDCHASER:(has been taking a walk in the woods when she hears the rogue and her two clan mates. Following her ears she finds the three but is crouched behind a bush to not be spotted. Swiftly, she sneaks behind the rogue a few fox lengths behind ready to pounce on the cat)

When she landed safely on the ground, having slowed down her fall by ridding her claws into the wood, her fur was badly ruffled and she had gotten several scratches, but nothing really serious. The squirrel was still in her mouth and she dropped it onto the ground, looking at Piketail. "Well, that didn't go exactly according to plan." She commented, ashamed of her own clumsiness. Some of the cuts she had obtained stung, but she barely felt it, concentrating rather on the older tom.

Skysong listened to what Lichenstorm said and nodded, knowing that it was one of the precautions they had to take. Because of all the commotion from the twolegs, the larger predators like badgers and foxes weren't likely to enter their territory, so smaller groups would be a good idea.

She lowered her ears, listening to what Piketail said. Even though she knew that it was a very selfish reaction, she couldn't help a pang of disappointment when she realized that he was more worried about what others might say to him about what happened, than he was about something happening to her just out of concern. She had thought they were friends. "Oh, sorry about endangering your reputation as a responsible warrior. I'm fine, by the way, I just wanted to get the squirrel." She said, the furry animal lying at her feet. Leopardpaw's tone was slightly sarcastic and her eyes sparked with defiance.

"Oh, okay. I guess I will see you later then." Skysong said, looking the slightest bit disappointed. She had been enjoying his company, even if these circumstances weren't the best. But she wasn't going to hang around if he didn't want her to. With a flick of her tail Skysong trotted off in the opposite direction, away from Lichenstorm and towards the forest.

He knew he couldn't expect her to understand his distress, it wasn't like she'd have anything to lose if she got hurt. She'd probably enjoy all the attention from the medicine cats and her mentor; but he tries not to think darkly of it. "You sure you didn't snag a claw or twist your ankle? The rush clouds your minds sense of pain for a short while." Remembering the first time he fell in the river, he was too young and thought it was the most fun he'd had all day. Upon waking the next morning, only then did the soreness of paddling and being bumped against rocks really set in.
