I wriggled my body with all the energy left. My parents left, I never knew why, And I don't want to know either. I opened my eyes and regretted the decision as soon as the sun faced me. I whimpered and whimpered for days. No one saw me either, Stupid cherry blossoms... The thought of dying kept me going. Weeks passed though, And I finally gained enough energy to stand up, but I was skinnier than a branch. So Ii usually crawled, begging for food. But one day, Yellow and black insects buzzed in my ears. I hated it so Ii swatted them. But they kept making me chase them.. It was Annoying! They move, I swat, I swat they move. They made me use all my strength and energy, perhaps they wanted me to die.. But I didn't let them. I Followed them for miles, occasionally stopping to beg for food. But I traveled for Miles and Miles... My feet still hurt from the walk. It was a late night, My feet were hurting, I was growing, But I was still skinny. I fell down when the bees entered the hives. "A-are you joking me? All this way??" I cried, But then woosh the hive split next to me, sweet, golden, sticky honey drizzled out. Without thinking I immediately ran over, my energy returned as soon as I messily gulp the dense liquid. It was the best thing I tasted. The group of Bees all stared at me. Happily, it looked like. They buzzed and infested my pelt. Now, a lot of people would've screamed, but it felt like they were tickling me. I felt happy, warm and safe. The bees sacrificed their own work, just for me. I felt special for once,
Years passed...
I woke up again, I was plump and happy. Intill I heard a big Thump I was startled awake and saw people cutting down trees. I was furious and ran at them, scaring them off. I Walked to a sign "Bee forest will be Removed, In replacement with a Farm!" Those words stung. I madly stomped away to my hive and barked at them, we made a language together. Its stupid, I know. But they responded. I told them what was happening and they freaked out. Now I don't know how, but they said I should Leave, They didn't want me getting hurt. I was furious. I didn't wan to leave them Obviously, I stayed, but that was when something horrible happened.
A few days later almost all the trees were cut down, leaving stumps in the ground. The humans were merciless, I was defenseless. I was scared... But that didn't stop me.. One day they came to cut down MY tree, I failed my friends... my family... They c-came and took me away from them, I remember them cutting down the tree and then driving away...
It will be okay, my honey child
I woke up, again. Those were the last words I heard from them... I could never bring myself to see them again..I promised myself that I would help any bees in need of a friend, or just a simple task.. My new nickname was Honey child, I was known for my motto "Honey Helpers" with countless posters asking for help. My greatest achievement? When they removed the forest, There was a farm, A bee farm.. I never saw my family, But the word Honey child will always be engraved in my heart
