His ears drop slightly, knowing Lichenstorm could be hot heated at time and careless. Generally the cat was pretty calm and put together, but he couldn't believe he'd lost to a younger cat. Listening carefully, the blue tom began to worry about the cats who'd left camp not long before. Was it possible that Sunsplash was in danger?

His fur stands on all ends when the she-cat bumps into him, shaking off his pelt. "Watch your paws tail chaser, you'll walk into a tree like that..!" Hardly shocked by the news and also a little too young to worry, but it looked like the news was bothering her. Then again, eleven moons old was hardly the age to be a warrior, so he could imagine the pressure.

Skysong
Skysong nodded in agreement, even though she herself thought that once in a while a bit of rest was actually quite necessary. She loved hunting and protecting the clan, but sometimes she was glad to get some peace and quiet. Soon she caught a second minnow the same way she had caught the one before, dropping it next to her previous catch.

Leopardpaw
Leopardpaw moved closer to the spot where the leader was along with Piketail and she listened to the news. "This isnt good." She mutteredm looking up at Piketail, just as Cloudchaser bumped into him.

"There is plenty of territory where you can hunt freely, just not ours." Sunsplash shrugged, his demeanor calm, but his voice was far from friendly.

With two fish each, the tom guessed he couldn't carry much more even if it was only a mouthful by the tail. "We should be heading back then, I'm not sure I could manage that mouse..." He'd wanted to hunt in the forest afterwards, but he'd given himself too much credit it would seem.

He mutters, gazing at Leopardpaw slightly with wonder on how she was taking the news. Elders passing away was light conversation, but now all this was happening on top of loss. "You'll have to be extra vigilant."

"Alright, lets go." SKysong nodded, picking up her two fish, her paws leaving wet marks on the ground as she started walking back towards the camp, holding her head high so that the heads of the fish didnt drag along on the ground.

Leopardpaw had been struck by the news, but tried not to show it. She knew that their leader would do anything to stay here, but she had also started accepting the fact that maybe, if things got too bad, they wouldnt have any choice but to leave. "If youre going out, can I tag along ? I dont think I can listen to all of the conversations about this at once." She asked Piketail.

Unaware of what had been said in camp, the sand colored tom walked into camp with relief it was never too far even with wet paws. The river was practically a few cat lengths away, and for that he was grateful. Looking around camp, he could feel the tense mood. "Something isn't right..." He mutters, noticing Crowstar near the meeting place which clearly meant they'd missed something important.

The warrior beside him was young, hardly out of the apprentice den and now another young cat was looking for work. Sighing slightly, he thinks it over a few times in his head. "Fine, but only if you promise to run if there's danger. I don't want blood on my paws..." He decides, not sure how close or far foxes might have been pushed into their territory before following Cloudchaser out of camp.
