Patric nodded, then looked over the spread. "It looks delicious- you must be an excellent cook."

"Not half bad." Ella replied. She tossed him a hot loaf of bread. "There." she tossed him a cheese spread to go with it.

"Thank you," said Patric with a half-bow. He looked up at Ella with a tiny smile and said, "But a fair maiden such as yourself should be up on deck, not stock in a dreary kitchen."

"Fair maiden?" Ella laughed. "I don't mind. I'd rather Be doing this than be on deck." she said, pouring the cake batter into a pan. She started up the oven and put it in. She started on the frosting.

Patric chuckled lightly, opening the door so a bit of outside air could enter the kitchen. He saw Milo outside, and the black-haired boy was glaring angrily at him. He began helping frost the cake, asking casually, "Why does that deckhand look so angry?"

"I don't know." Ella laughed. She got a glob of frosting on her finger and smeared on his face. She laughed at the sight of pink on his skin.

Liza stopped in Tortuga breifly to get a messanger bird. She needed to send a letter to her ship to check on things. She found a decent bird and tied a note to its leg before letting it go find her ship. the note said, "How are things on the ship? sorry i left so abruptly but I had a few debts i needed to repay."

Ingo finished her bacon in a matter of minutes. She pushed herself back from the table with her feet and breathed out deeply,"Now that was fantastic" pronounced Ingo happily."We had better get back to the ship when you're done, i still need to tell the captain i'd like to join the crew"

Ingo saw that Xaria had finished, "How was it?" Ingo asked Xaria, "Did you like it?"
