I could see Layla talking but couldn't hear her, so I assumed someone had entered the kitchen. "Layla? Who are you talking to? " I asked her, looking out the corner of my eye.

Amber was letting the stew set for a moment, when her visible eye saw someone approaching. Someone who Ellie hadn't noticed yet, though decided to let Layla deal with it. "It's basically done, though it's really hot right now." The teen answered nonchalantly, before noticing that Ellie had finally caught sight of the newcomer. She herself opted to stay out of it, not interested, but Crimson flew over to Layla and the girl.

"Greetings. Umi, was it? My name is Crimson, and the antisocial girl with dark brown hair and the large eyepatch is my partner, Amber." The Exceed's long, fluffy tail curled around his feet, as he inspected her. She seemed fine enough, with blue hair up in a bun.

"Yeah," Umi smiled at the Exceed. "Its nice to meet you Crimson." A bang swooped in front of her face, she guessed it probably fell out of her bobby pin. She took the bobby pin holding her hair on the left side of her face to fix it.

She took the shirt and put it over her head. She stood up and adjusted the shirt. It reached right above the end of her skirt. "You are one tall person." She laughed sitting back down looking at Gray.

Layla thought about it, but only gave a shrug as shed never been in the kitchen before herself. Looking to Ellie, she waved a hand to Umi. "This is Umi, apparently she wants some bread?"
