Jordan focused on her food awkwardly. "I-it's nice to meet you, Miss Akume!"

Lukas shrugged. *No idea.* He looked at his tart, then at Faye's. *Can you eat that?*

*Of course!* Faye proclaimed, leaning and taking a small bite from her tart.

"Is Ryouki here?" Yuki asked, curiously."

William
William frowned. "I'm... Not sure," he lied.

[Darkanra]

The woman focused on Jordan.
"Nice to meet you too dear! Is this your...ahem...date Diego?"
Diego's voice came out as cool as ice.
"No. This is Jordan. My travelling companion. Mother, if you would be so kind as to give us some space, I'm sure there are others that need your undivided attention."
He turned back to his food.

Vaten blanched. *Wow. That was cold!*

Ryouki decided to stay, but would sneak to his seat once it started.

Jordan blinked a few times, before her face turned red in embarrassment. "Y-yeah, you've got the wrong idea, ma'am! Just traveling companions!"

*Why is Jordan's face red...? Is she ill?* Lukas blinked.

"Well... I've got to get ready to perform. See you, Will!" She headed off.

William sighed softly. "Oh well."

The woman looked a bit shocked.

Sarah drifted away towards another table. Diego was concentrating on his food.

*I think she's embarrassed.* Vaten curiously studied Jordan's face.

Ryouki emerged from the Restrooms, eyes on the lookout for Yuki. He made his way over to William cautiously.
"Do you think it would help if I just stayed away from Yuki?"

Jordan poked at her food. "I get why you were acting so odd now..." She muttered.

*I see...* Lukas began to eat his tart.

"No." William said bluntly. "You know she needs a definite answer. You're clearly bothered by this, and the quickest way to end it is to confront the issue. Why are you trying to dodge it?"

"Oh, there you are. Yea everything went well. In fact I have a new team member!" Nychole replied with a happy look in her eyes. The rattata still perched on Nychole's shoulder look at Sora curiously. "So what was that loud roar I heard a few moments ago?" The trainer asked.

Diego nodded, mouth full.
Vaten was chewing, his mouth full to bursting. He looked rather like a Patrat.

The Albino ran a hand through his snow white hair as he exhaled sharply with his eyes closed. When they opened, they were dim and full of sadness.
"I guess you are correct. I will wait until after the Showcase, so I don't spoil it for her."

((He doesn't know Yuki is participating. ))

Jordan quickly ate her food. "... My mom wouldn't have been anywhere near that.... Enthusiastic."

Faye laughed. *Wow, Vaten. You're just too much.*

"Ryouki?" He frowned in concern. "What's wrong? You can tell me..."

Vaten chuckled, flippers over his mouth to avoid spraying food everywhere.
