Rainheart gave the apprentice a smile. "Well done!" she praised with a chuckle, sniffing herself. She could also smell the faint tint of vole in the air, but there were too other scents lurking around too. "What else?"

Dapplefur perked up her ears and rushed to the emergency. She had seen a queen give birth before, and helped her old mentor. She'd practised three times before, and was ready. "Oceanpaw!" she called, bounding over to the black she-cat. The tortoiseshell beckoned her apprentice over with her tail and looked at the queen. "Alright. Riversplash, go to the nursery, I'll be right behind you. Creamflower, if you look in the back of my den there are some sticks. Tell Oceanpaw to get some chervil." she told the two, noticing Blizzardpaw poking his head out of the apprentices' den to see what was going on.

Riversplash let out a groan and heaved herself over to the nursery, followed by the medicine cat. She laid down again and grunted, shifting position to get more comfortable.

Sunclaw stayed silent about the rat scent, but his amber gaze scanned the ground around him for any movement. He sighted a small mouse and instantly crouched, signalling to the other cats that he was hunting and for them to stay quiet. The warrior pounced onto it, tearing his claws into it's neck. He grinned and dug a hole beside it, then dropping it in. He gave them a curt nod to carry on as he lifted himself up and walked along.

Light stalked through the forest, her one good eye watching for prey. Her ears were pricked and her mouth opened wide. Light heard a rustling sound, and pounced towards it, missing the mouse by inches. She cursed loudly. She could barely hint as it is, and now that she was missing an eye it just made it worse. She padded sadly back to her den, and old fox den dug between tree roots.

[Not much has happened apart from Riversplash feeling that her kits are coming.]

Creamflower nods and pads over to the medicine cats den, grabs a stick, and carries it to Dapplefur, dropping it in front of her. "I found a stick." she said. "I will also help Riversplash since Ive kitted before."

Oceanpaw
Oceanpaw quickly finished up with Thunderkit, and told him to stay off his paw. Then she raced after her mentor, to tend to the she-cat who was having her kits. She had never helped a delivery before, and with so many queens. She had to learn quickly, in case her mentor was gone, while Pepper or Creamflower were having their's. She looked at her mentor, "What herbs do you need?"

Lionbreeze

Lionbreeze nodded his head at Sunclaw, "Good catch." He then sniffed, taking in the scent of rat as well. He shrugged it off, If we don't go near them, we won't have trouble with them. He continued to walk along the border. Scenting the border, wasn't the best thing a cat could do, it was just a daily duty to Lionbreeze. He would rather be fighting or hunting.

She opened her mouth to speak when Sunclaw darted off, waiting patiently as he caught his prey and returned to the group. Following at her mentors tail, the young tabby kept her nose low as they walked to check for scent. "Oh, dandelion. I should ask the medicine cats if they need any when we get back." Spotting the yellow flowers with ease as they were hard to miss; they grew everywhere! She failed to scent anything else of interest as they walked, mostly stale and faded scents mixed in with cat.

Rustkit & Swiftkit~

Rustkit ran out of the nursery torwards Thunderkit. "You okay?" He asked, he was always concerned about others. Swiftkit, now realizing that Oceanpaw had left, followed her brother. "Cool!" She said looking at his paw. "I've never stepped on a thorn before!"
