While known as Midna by everyone this isn't her real name, given she was named Safia by her two loving parents. Of course with both still residing in the pokemon world, there isn't really anyone to correct others so that they use her actual name. The fact that she can't corret them herself yet due to her lack of common speech doesn't help, nor that the scarf she wears serves as a makeshift collar which reads as her nickname. Though she doesn't particulary mind, and as even stopped responding to her original name as quickly as she should if it is somehow mentioned.
Speaking of her scarf, it happens to be her pride and joy. The tattered old thing was given to her by Gavin as a way to 'boost her coolness', so to speak... Whether it does that or not she has no clue, but contest judges seemed to sure love it; the only downside being that most gym leaders they previously encountered gave her an odd look once they spotted the thing.
Her new life certainly differs greatly from the rapid excitement of being under Gavin's command, though mention either to her and you'll get a toothy grin. The life she lead as a true Mightyena is one she'll happy recite as an awesome story in ruffs and growls, for the thrill of battling other pokemon is one she enjoyed to it's fullest extent. The pride and power that came with standing at the Hall of Fame isn't one she'll ever brush off, and she can only give her gratitude to her previous trainer for indeed choosing her.
Though the present isn't something that should be written off either. Midna currently resides at Itachi's house, as more of a long standing guest than a daughter. Though the guy, while reluctant to have an illiterate not to mention bite you girl around, also employs her as an assassin. Why employment is mandatory in this new world in unknown to her, as while the family is slowly teaching her to grow accustomed to the RPW world, she is still baffled by some concepts. At least being an assassin is a pretty sweet job if she does say so herself, as she can liken it to battling Team Magma, Aqua and other 'bad guys'. The only thing that concerns her is that once a RPW faints they don't seem to be able to get back up no matter how many revives you stuff in their face... So she takes her care to simply knock them into the red and capture villians rather than taking them out entirely.
Midna has also found herself having to hold back when around her colleagues as apparently not everyone appears to like being playfully nipped, or pounced on from behind? Her old party while in the pokemon world didn't seem to mind too much... Though Midna wasn't and still isn't the best at judging others emotions, and rather reacts quickly to their actions instead. So give her a frown after that noogie and she'll most likely stay indiffernt, but growl instead and you'll see her immeadetly re-think this action.
Luckily she is good friends with Kagura who has been both teaching her how to read books as well as other people. This has helped her leaps and bounds and she's starting to recognise when some of her other friends who live at the assassin's headquatres, have had enough of her nonsense and simply want to be left alone.
One of her friends and funnily enough one of Kagura's partners, happens to be Shalidar. He's the one that often puts up with her rough play the most and the two are often seen tussling or practising their skills on each other, and Midna appreciates this as well as his strange resemblance to the pokemon Sneasel... She is also good friends with his younger brother called Shadar who she has gained some more irritating habits from, such as the use of cheesy pick up lines. One of her favourites is; "Yeah, I like chasing my tail; but I'd rather chase yours." Though since Kiba is the only one that understans her growls and barks via his paint's power, once he relays her saying one of these lines to someone he often ends up with collateral damage from the person Midna was trying to flirt with hitting her. [Or at least trying to and striking Kiba or the air instead; maybe she has the ability Run Away instead of Moxie.]

ahh thank you for midna! qwq i'll definetely do my best to take care of this bundle of fluff, i'll try to hit you guys up for role plays 'n' stuff when i'm a little less busy with school. ^^
