Livini- I'm pretty sure there are people who ship Washa x Naoki. And even creepier, Jean x Naoki. Seriously, I don't get shippers.

What do you think of Mister Maki (the principal) and would you want to attend Mumei Academy (the school Kitti and most of the others go to)?

Well, Mister Maki is impressively bad, and I never want to be on the same continent as him. I have no idea about wanting to go to Mumei, I'm not sure if all that drama would be a good thing or a bad thing.

I actually really wonder what Kitti's family thinks about her going to Mumei. I mean, her parents sent her to several schools that were probably much better than Mumei Academy, and she wasn't happy there and was expelled for throwing tables and stuff, and then they sent her to this weird school called Mumei where the headmaster is scary and unpredictable, the homeroom teacher gets nervous breakdowns every minute, a group of older kids go around hurting people, making fires and painting on the walls without getting punished by the teachers, and there are dangerous things hidden in different places; and yet this weird, irresponsible school is where Kitti makes great friends and learns to control herself. Don't you think her parents must be at least surprised about this? And then I wonder what all her siblings think, or her grandmother…

EDIT 2: Look, I got a Kitti x Chance button in my signature!

EDIT 3: I updated the plot summary and list of characters, and in doing so, I realized that "energetic" is a very good word to describe Jean ^^. Also, I find it cute how much Yuuna likes Mana-chan and how she convinced the others to let Mana be a part of the team: "That way, we'll be an even number and none of us will be alone when we walk in pairs!" And then when Washa protest: "But think of it this way: you'll never be the smallest anymore!" Yuuna isn't one of my favorite characters, but I just love her in that scene!

Also, someone made a "Contents" button on Mana-chan's Wikia page, which is awesome, but then when I added an extra sub-heading to Mana's relationships, the chapters disappeared from the "Contents" button . And I still haven't figured out how to add pictures to a page and how to link the different pages to each other…

Since the twins are among your favorite characters… Do you think Yuuna can actually see Mana-chan or do you think she just plays along with Chance's fantasy?

On another note, I see that you like South Park: Re-watching ImA now that I know South Park is very distracting when it comes to the headmaster. Mister Maki is supposed to be this scary headmaster, and then his name is pronounced almost the same as one of the most ridiculous South Park teachers! I keep laughing when I'm supposed to be scared, because I imagine Mr. Mackey doing those things…

Hope y'all don't mind me barging in. ^^' I forgot about this club for a while. I'm just gonna answer this question from a while ago.

What are your favorite quotes of every character (or at least the ones we've talked about until now)?
Kitti: "Well, I guess you could say that this was a catastrophe. ...Wow, Chance was right. That pun did kinda make me feel better." This, among many others, just feeds my love for this ship.
Chance: Pretty much everything he has ever said. Like, ever.
Jean: You know how she makes up really bad metaphors a lot? One of those.
Washa: "You made me run three miles and lose my life savings just because I said your fashion sense sucked?!"
Naoki: 'You get five times as much pocket money as I do! You can't tell me ten dollars were your life savings!" Accompanying the one above. For all his usual bombast and flair, he sounds like an annoyed ten-year-old here.
Yuuma: He didn't technically say this, but: "Wow, he's short." In that one episode where it was mentioned that he made a list of the class members, with a description of each of them included. Everyone else got an accurate (beyond slight biases) and in-depth description, but Washa just gets this.

I really ought to re-watch the anime. I usually only do it when new seasons come out, but ImA's second season is, like, half a year away, and I keep forgetting what happens in this one.

Basically, Season 1 starts with Kitti going to Mumei for the first time after being kicked out of other schools, and then she makes friends and learns to control her temper and helps Chance switch to the good side and they make a friends' group to stop Naoki. But that's a really lousy summary, since it barely mentions Naoki's doings and the secrets of the school and all that other stuff…

From what I've seen and heard about Season 2, the kids go on some sort of field trip… which sounds like fun… But I haven't actually been able to watch it yet: Season 2 isn't out yet in my country and ImA's popularity is so low that I can't find it anywhere on internet… -.-'
Have you guys seen it yet? Is it good?

Oh my god, I just saw half of Season 2, and I'm completely baffled! Here are my comments until now:

1. I do NOT ship Jean x Lilly anymore. First of all, I prefer Jean x Dara. Second of all, Lilly in Season 2 . I'm terrified right now. And it would be just cruel to ship that girl with Jean after everything she did

2. I now know what's up with Tetsuko. Hint 1: He's not the same person as Yuuma, but I was right that he was hiding his identity for a reason. Hint 2: That one scene with Naoki and the twins is pretty much the only scene where Daini appears without Tetsuko, so I saw that as a huge hint that Yuuma might be the same person as Tetsuko, but you know who else was in that scene? Exactly: Lilly the janitor. It should have been obvious that an attractive 19-year-old girl would not randomly decide to be a janitor at a high school, but of course none of us even noticed anything fishy about that, because random characters are often young and attractive in anime .

3. Piefan, I don't know how on Earth you came up with Daini x Lilly, but it was canon all along without anyone realizing it . How did you know?

4. New characters. I like Dara, and Rocco is cute and funny. I also like some of Kitti's siblings. And Lilly is technically not a new character, but she was/seemed like such a minor character in Season 1, and now she's a scarier and more believable villain than both Naoki and Mr. Maki, so my shout-out goes to her as well ^^. (even though I love Naoki as a funny exaggerated character) However, I found a few of the other new characters rather disappointing, especially Sachiko. What was her purpose even supposed to be? ImA really didn't need another cheerful female character: we already have Jean, Yuuna and Mana-chan! And while Jean has a fleshed-out backstory and a unique personality, and Mana-chan is cute and interesting, Sachiko just seems like the most superficial character ever made… What was ImA thinking? -.-' But I won't complain, because for the most part, what I've seen of Season 2 was great, and I haven't finished yet, so maybe Sachiko will have some sort of purpose…

5. I'm also happy that the twins finally got their own episode. I always found Yuuna a little boring in Season 1 (though I thought it was cute that she made friends with Mana-chan), but I like her better now. And I know now why Yuuna joined the team and Yuuma never did.

6. I'm really curious what's going to happen next. Is someone going to die? There was a rumor going on that Yuzuki would die in Season 2, but I think that was only because she has white hair (someone said white-haired people often died in anime, so then people were joking that Yuzuki would die).

^ You reminded me to check out Season 2 - and, uh, wow.

I was so not expecting ImA to turn so serious. It's gone out of comedy territory before, but not for this long. One moment Chance and Washa are just chilling with Odie, and ten minutes later, that same dog's half-dead? Why, Lilly? D: It was so jarring to have her just suddenly be so evil, but I think there were a couple lines of foreshadowing back in Season 1.

And Daini/Lilly... Wasn't expecting that to be actually canon, but it was pretty cool that it was.

Sachiko does (semi-spoiler, I guess?) wind up having a purpose later on, though she isn't much more developed by the end. Agreed on Dara, though! Nice to have a character that isn't super hyper or constantly serious - a lot of ImA's characters seem to fall into one of those two categories.
