They looked to eachother, then back to the crowd. "It is important enough that someone would kill for it." They smiled and eventually one dropped to the ground, with the other explorers.

"You know..." The one that was on the ground smirked and Identified the trident wielding Zora. "We might be willing to trade the skull for a henchman." The skull remained with the other one, the magic still surrounded it. "You must join us voluntarily. If you think you could be... Of use to us." She snickered. Identifying each and every one of them individually.

Shinceon Day 7 Underground

Shinceon looked at them and then the group, seeing that they obviously have some kind of extremely important quest to complete, he thought of his options. He had no friends, no famliy, no future left for him and they had each other and needed to complete a quest. Thinking about this, he stepped up I volunteer, these people have a future and quest that they need to complete, this will be my last good thing, saving one of them to try to repay for my life of death and misguidance. He glanced back at the group that he just met but stood strong.

Something about their tone put Shia on edge. She got the feeling whoever got to go would have an unpleasant experience. That wasn't what she wanted for her friends. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. I don't think Shinceon deserves this, after everything. "If you'd rather, I could go." She grinned, despite her concern. "Sounds like fun."

Shinceon looked at Shia, yes this would be a way out but it would totally undermind his reasoning and still get one of the people that need to complete the quest controlled by her. No, I am going to do this you need to complete your quest and I have nothing here.

Ferondir looked up. Veneficus had said they needed that skull. But... did they really?
Was it worth one of their lives?
Shia spoke up.
"Don't." Ferondir said to her. "Let him go. He clearly needs to sort something out."
He stood up and stepped in front of her.
"You have a duty to the Guild. You can't join them. Besides that, I have a bad feeling about these guys."

Veneficus turned to face the strange sisters.
I don't know what game you're trying to play here, but none of us are going to be your slaves!
Veneficus cleared his throat. He didn't think he'd ever have to speak that sentence to anyone.
Honestly, I don't really care if you two have the Dragon Skull if you're not with the Bordix. As long as they don't have it, it's none of my concern. So you two can keep it, but keep it safe.
Veneficus knew that Dragon Skulls were extremely rare and hard-to-find, so if this one was gone, there would be no known other ones for the Bordix to use.

They smiled. "I guess your Master isn't as smart as he takes himself to be. We make deals, it's what we do." The left one said, still sitting utop the ledge.

"It just so happens that we made a deal with that man you were just fighting, before you entered the room." The right one continued, leaning against the wall. "We said we were making an exception for you guys, but if you really don't want to make that deal I guess we could just send it to them." The right one crossed her arms, looking up to her left sister.

He looked at Veneficus it is OK I will go, I don't have anything to lose now. Everyone I knew is dead and I know that you guys have an important quest you need to complete, I don't.

Shia looked at Ferondir. That's right... Heh, I always did hate responsibilities. Well, I'm the one who got myself stuck with the Guild. "Shinceon... I dunno what to say. I guess... Thank you for doing this, and don't give up. A week ago I had nothing to lose, and, well..." She gestured towards her mentor. "Now I've got a reason to be around." She shook her head, frowning. I hate making him the one to do this... "If I didn't have something I promised to do, I..." She fell silent. There was nothing left to say.
