Evette was back at the cave, so she put down her bag and laid down to enjoy a book she found in the trash can.

Night whined and shifted back to her human form, "Evette is still back at the cave, should I run back and get her?"

Jay looked at where they came. It had been a long walk. And run.
"Um-"
The realization that he was leaving suddenly hit him. He would be gone. The city, even though he hated the city, and the people in it, he had lived there his entire life, and he was leaving? Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. After all, Evette was all the way back, and they had left the doc, even though he had saved his life!
"M-maybe this.... Yeah. But I wanna go back too..." He didn't mention that he planned on staying.

Night nodded and shifted back, turning to let Jay climb on her. She sensed he was uncomfortable and nudged him playfully to ease his tension.
(might be disappearing for a few hours, will be back ASAP)

He nodded silently and climbed onto her back, and pat her muzzle when she nudged him.

Night took off at a run, covering the distance back to the cave in a lot less time then they had traveled away from the cave. She let Jay down and laid near the cave entrance, watching Jay and Evette.

He blinked and watched her leave, frowning and watching the dog bounce off
"I vill not enjoy zhis kind of attention.. People valking in und out vill not fly." He growled and sighed, moving back to his barracks
The feeling of hunger hitting him again
But it was okay
Because he knew that he could go a couple days without food, even if it meant he had to find it

The dog was sliding himself across the floor on his back, just kind of having a crazy moment. He didn't know what to do with himself... So this was the result!
