Naraire turned to Patches and cocked her head all cute-like with her ears flopping around. "What'd ya say?"

Patches felt his face grow hot. "N-nothing. Never mind." He said softly and offered her a small smile.

Blila twirled her head around, staring at this unseeable creature. "I assume you're invisible? I heard Naraire yelling about you earlier."

But Flarfle was already bounding down the sidewalk, its paws as light as a feather on air, leaving Blila talking, rather to its amusement, to a patch of empty air.

Naraire instantly felt bad for making Patches look insecure. She smiled back. "Let's go to the clothing shop!" she yelped as she dashed out of the park. "Come on!"

Blila felt the weight leave her head as her words tumbled out. She muttered silently in her mind, How rude. It left without saying anything.
She tuned to SugerPuff.

"Okay, Sugarpuff. Wanna go do something?"

Patches jumped up and raced to catch up, hoping his seams wouldn't tear. He slowed when he caught up with Naraire and wagged his tail. "What's the clothing shop like?" He asked quietly.

Naraire sent Patches a look like Don't be so quiet. There's no need to be. She sighed. Then her shoulders picked up again and she started to trot happily. "You'll see."
